Curbar Gap Car park Easternmoors

Convenient car park for Curbar Edge and Baslow Edge, but gets busy at weekends - often full by 10am. Spaces aren't marked, so parking can be a bit random. Parking is free for NT & RSPB members, everyone else needs to buy a ticket.Jolly's coffee van sells coffee and cakes at the car park most Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.

Handy car park for edge walks. Free to NT members. Coffee van opened around 1030. Muddy surface.

Absolutely fantastic place to park the car and go for a lovely walk. We did a circular walk to and around Chatsworth and then back via Baslow.

NT members place your membership card on the dashboard, you don't have to scan it at the machine or anything

Tiny car park that was rammed when we arrived had to park on the street my biggest bug bear though is NO BINS!!!! when you also considered there's no bins on the walks either I'm really surprised it was as clean as it was

Found quite high up on the hillside, this car park gives easy access to walk up high without too much of an initial climb..Postcode S32 3YR is the postcode, but my satnav actually gave the location of this to someone's driveway!!If yours does the same keep going up the hill and eventually you'll get to it at the top on the left.Free to park for national trust members.No toilets available..A small mobile cafe van is sometimes there.Walks to the local cliff edges are really easy to find from here.The first one can actually be found across the road and within 15 minutes..Limited spaces and it gets full at the weekends very quickly.People park on the road on the way up to the car park if there arnt any spaces.Payment is by card or App only.The app is called pay by phone and is quite commonly used in the Peak District. ( add your credit card to it, and your reg beforehand, and it's really easy to use )It cost us £3.50 for 4 hours, or you can pay £5 for all day.Recommended for local walks.Boots or wellies Recommended.

Definitely arrive early to this car park. It's only small and was busy when I arrived at 9am. The circular walk is really worth it and has some lovely views.

Very busy! Quite a small car park although there does appear to be a good turn over of cars. I just suggest arriving early.Good that it is free if you are National Trust members.

Expensive and unmanaged so a free for all... chaos unfolds as everyone tries to avoid paying and parks on road.. so many near misses won't be returning on a weekend again
