Chesterfield Petanque Club

Obnoxious elderly woman seems to be running things. I have played for many years and fairly new to the area went to park to have a look. She only seems interested in new people joining her" club and had the cheek to say I could only play when the club was there and I had to pay £35 a year for the privilage! Surely this is a council run park and amenities like this are free?I did go there a couple of months ago so maybe things have changed but by her attitude I doubt it.My advice-don't bother and find somewhere else. I did and glad I did.Only gave one star as couldn't give none."

Loved this location. For parking and use of warm room helps to mitigate the torrential rain
