IMO Car Wash

Have used this car wash before and it has been fine but this time I asked to make sure the alloy wheels were properly done as they hadn’t been at last visit.The car wash kept stopping and had to be restarted by the operative. No explanation.The car was very streaked, not properly dried. Marks on the front and rear had not been brushed and pressure jetted prior. The wheels were filthy. I had to hand wash most of the car again to bring it to an acceptable standard. I will not return as £13.50 for a hap hazard wash is daylight robbery.

Normally it's goo, but on Saturday my car was more dirty when I came out, than when it went in. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with the hot weather. But it's just look like I got a damp cloth and rubbed it over. Very disappointed

Automated car wash with varying results. The wheel and prewash is too rushed and you definitely get the feeling they really don’t care. One brush wasn’t working in the actual car wash and results weren’t that great. Better to spend £15 and get the illegal immigrants to do it down the road.

Didn't take card payments when I visited it was quiet. I was the only customer. Young chap came out said cash only which service I paid £9.50 for the triple service wash. The chap walked round my car gave a quick blast with the spray gun then moved me on to the washer. A few minutes later I was out. I was some what disappointed the windscreen was still smeared, and the wheel rims was still dirty. Think I will be going to a hand was next time. I was really disappointed especially paying nearly 10 pounds I expected better than a quick blast of spray from some one who clearly did not want to be at work. Would I recommend not really on the service I received sorry.

Paid £9.50 so the weels could be cleaned, no jet wash on them he just put on some soap on, so still came out dirty, also used the hoover which was less powerful than my own at home.Haven't used this car wash for a while but recommended people give it a miss.

I have just paid for the ultra HD wash at the Cabot lane IMO car wash. And as much as my car is clean… my wheels were still filthy! I’ve literally pulled out of the wash to admire my nice shiny alloys and they were still black! I have just been round with a wet wipe to try and clean it off. Not happy.

Have been going here for a few years - wide range of options when it comes to washes. I find it's all in the prewash as the car wash alone isn't enough to remove bird dirt etc - therefore I recommend going outside of their peak times when they have more time to focus on the prewash. I have had the interior valet done a couple of times with ok results. You can use the App for discounts. For me it represents value for money with quick results.

I travelled around 15 miles to IMO's Pooles Cabot Lane site and as a first time customer I wasn’t sure how your system worked so I parked up and looked for a member of staff. I saw someone in a cabin so went to speak to him only to be chastised by this apathetic, ignorant teenager telling me to get out of his cabin! When I questioned his order to get out he quoted the age old insurance excuse, as if this was supposed to appease me somehow. I fail to see why any sort of insurance cover is needed by taking one step over the threshold of his cabin.His attitude to both his work and me, as a new first time new customer, was, to put it mildly unbelievable and intolerable. He grunted at me in a quiet and mumbled way, barely coherent with no direction of what to do or where to go, he quite obviously didn’t want to be there.After requesting the top wash I was told my new customer voucher didn’t apply and I would have to have the next wash down on the menu. He reluctantly started the pre-wash, waving his pressure lance in the general direction of my car for barely 30 seconds. My car received a light misting of pre cleaning solution. No attention to the wheels which needed more than a light dusting of cleaning fluid. At no point during the cleaning process were there any instructions of what I should do or where I should be. He waved me to the start point as if speech was above his pay grade and pressed a button.After travelling back home I spent the rest of the day cleaning my car properly.If you want your car cleaned properly can I suggest doing it yourself and save your money or find a car cleaning service that is recommended, I will next time.

Wasn't too impressed yes it was a miserable day and it was clear the person who was operating the equipment didn't want to be there I paid £9:50 for the wash. A quick blast of pressure gun on the wheels then into the wash this part fine till end when the wipers dried the car they seemed to be dirty and smeared the windscreen. The wheels was still dirty I just could be bothered to go back around and complain. I didn't want to upset the person who was clearly not having a good day.

Good price, very poor wash see photos. I thought the first time might have been a glitch but this time it seems worse! Too busy to do anything about it immediately, I have to go back! Think I'll try a hand car wash next time,v at least they have no excuse for missing anywhere!
