We popped in when visiting the forest. At first no-one appeared to be around and the man who did walk in did not make it clear he worked there, but after hesitantly asking him, he did then help us, although a little uncertainly.However, given it was a Sunday in holiday season, the forest was very busy that day, however the guy managed to help us with hiring a bike for our son, despite us having not booked ahead. Bike and helmet hire for £10 for 3 hours was great and bike was just what son needed and in good condition.Meant son could explore the forest on wheels. So despite the slightly awkward uncertain start, very pleased for the opportunity and the fact we were able to hire so quickly (whole thing to about 5 mins) which meant we could explore more of the forest (various trails start from right near the hire shop).Just a tip to help people find it, as it isn't obvious (we found it by chance, maybe it is advertised and we didn't see it), the store / shed is behind the visitor center. If you follow the path to the right of the VC, past the toilet block, you will find it.

Seven of us hired e-bikes on Saturday morning. We had great fun riding around the forest and on the excellent Route 45 out to the Severn Valley Country Park. We were all various ages and abilities and it was great that the e-bikes equalised this so there was no-one puffing and panting at the back. Excellent service and very well maintained bikes. A brilliant three hours.

We hired 4 bikes and a tag along (for our 5 year old).Bikes and helmets appeared to be in good condition. Staff were helpful and friendly.We followed the family mountain bike trail. It was at right level for us, and took about 2 hours to complete (with a couple of stops etc)To quote the bigger children (10&12) Can we do it again?"I enjoyed the scenery and being back on two wheels

We wired bikes and had a decent ride. Hilly but the tracks weren't muddy so riding was OK.

The gentleman in the bike hire shop provided us with fantastic knowledge of the routes and was very helpful and friendly would definitely go again when visiting

Excellent service and was well looked after before we went for our ride with helmets available and a map for some guidance.Me and the Mrs went for a lovely cycle ride in great, high quality, very well maintained mountain bikes.We might opt for the electric bikes next time as some of the route can be more difficult for the less experiencedLovely natural woodland areas with plenty of diverse trails and routes suitable for a wide variety of ages and abilities which are explained before you set offWill be definitely returning when the weather gets betterParking is available for just a fiver for the while day so popping into town and returning to have some food was no issueHighly recommended!
