“Only for the Serious Permanent Weight Loss” book is a must read!! Its eye opening and puts a lot of things into perspective. The book is excellent! Whilst following the outlined steps, I was pleased about the accountability process (as it’s something I’m focusing to be better at within this journey) and I love and enjoy the reasoning sections on why taking certain actions will get you the desired results.I’ve been searching for a book like this!! A book that taught how to lose weight without the whole dieting or calorie counting. If you follow the book to a tee and you’re bound to see some results! :)It’s a personable. I feel like the author cares and is communicating directly to me urging and pushing me to succeed! :) I absolutely love the book and recommend all to read.

This book actually gives money to charity for every sale, very impressive. I was looking originally for weight loss books and saw this title and it just grabbed my attention straight away. Now having read it I wanted to leave a comment about it and can say unequivocally this is the absolute best book i've ever read on weight loss actually it's presented as a plan, a program that your supposed to follow and read the book every 3 days. This book is not about weight loss it is all about how to keep your weight off and I can vouch that this stuff works. I have dropped 7lb and haven't dieted one bit since reading this book. Now I am in the management stage and it is dead easy. There is no complex stuff in the book and no pictures or equations just direct conversation from the author to you almost like they are talking to you very personal. If you want to have an easy plan that works then I'd recommend this book definitely.

A very interesting read. It is written differently to all the books I have read on weight loss before as it covers the psychological side as well and in a quite simple to understand way. I already know quite a bit on health and weight control but certainly found a lot of additional info I never knew before. The author makes you feel that he is talking direct to you as you read. Overall I enjoyed this book especially the way it was written as it was very direct and upfront without any confusion or jargon.

I wanted to find something not on just weight loss but how to keep the weight off, couldn't find anything until I found this book. It is amazing and explains the exact thing of how to keep your weight loss over long term. I have always been interested in weight control and so this book was of interest to me. Now that i have actually read it i can tell you it is written in a quite unique way, personally i loved it but can see how someone else may find it a little difficult to keep up with at times but the message is clear and simple with a plan that you follow day to day. Highly recommend it if your needing to know how to lose weight and keep it off.

This book is quite extraordinary because it is not about weight loss at all. It's predominantly on how to maintain your weight loss which is simply brilliant. Everything you could ever think about or want to know is in these 450 pages. I personally found the nutritional side very useful and have already begun to lose weight without any dieting. The book is also delivered as a program that you follow as opposed to a book to read and that also made it very interesting for me. The book is certainly not for those who are just curious or interested as the depth and detail are thorough. Overall I loved the book and would give it 9/10

Joined two group coaching sessions led by Darren and it was probably one of the best things I've done for my life and career. Darren asks difficult questions and give you the tools to answer them for yourself instilling the confidence in you to trust yourself and your answers. He sees each person for who they are and even in a group setting, takes the time to support each person individually.In the first session we focused on addressing the personal experiences and thoughts that hold us back and techniques to change that and in the second session we focused on setting goals and being focused on achieving them. The encouragement, the focus, the techniques used to dig deeper and find what truly makes me happy and the how to battle my fears and be more confident in myself have helped me change the way I treat my professional life in the space of a few weeks!And not only does he do an amazing job but it's clear that he genuinely cares - and that makes all the difference.Hi recent book 'Only for the serious permanent weight loss' is possibly the most practical and honest weight loss programme I have encountered. I'd been trying to lose a bit of weight for years and only when I started changing my life's habits did I see lasting change. this book is like having DCR in the room, asking you all the difficult questions, ones that you dare not ask yourself as you know the answers are not that satisfactory. I love the programme for its immediacy and the fact that it doesn't sugar coat anything - a method which if you are serious about seeing lasting results is definitely very effective! I particularly liked the practicality of it, this is not just a book that gives you advice and tips. It's a book that gives you the tools and creates a programme based on actual facts about human psychology, nutrition and exercise. And it takes into account the fact that we are humans with lives outside of dieting making small little changes day by day, week by week so that weight loss, healthy habits start forming naturally after a while. Definitely recommend it to all those serious about making a change in their life and seeing it on their body.I couldn't recommend Darren highly enough.

Loved the book because it didn't mess about with anything but the hard hitting points about the very important angle of managing weight loss not just weight loss itself. I think this is vital for people to know about and this book definitely achieved that without a doubt whatsoever. It's written in an unusual way in that the book is actually a program and meant to be read 1 chapter at a time with a space of a few days in between, very clever. The style is also unorthodox and was not the easiest to read at times but having said that I will say that it is a MUST read if you're looking for the angle of keeping weight off and not repeating yo-yo weight loss.

Only for the serious permanent weight loss is a very interesting and informative read, it actually quite surprised me because it is all about the focus of keeping your lost body weigh off over time, not just in the moment. I don't know if any other books cover this! Anyway I found it very useful and have since applied the advice given to my training and food. There is no dieting involved so it is almost effortless to follow and i can say I have already seen promising results. After doing some research I found the author is a life coach so now I understand why the book is this way, its very nurturing and very supportive in the way it is delivered. By the way it is almost 500 pages so don't expect a quick read but that is traded off with knowing stuff no one else is telling you!

A must read. Eye Opening! Life changing! It makes fun and lively reading because of the contents plus the unusual and unique writing style. It’s interesting with quirky comments. It’s also educational and eye opening it’s transforming. I can totally identify with the ‘I used to’ people identified in chapter 1 and now I’m happy to say that I’m transformed! A must read for all ages.I just wish I’d read Darren’s book ages ago. It definitely holds the key to permanent weight loss!!The principles in this book are life changing. The strategies are unique and goes to the core of weight loss issues to change our consciousness reshaping our minds and our bodies permanently! I strongly recommend everyone, if serious about weight loss and weight management to read this book because hands down, it will be the best investment you make.
