If you want to rent a house don’t contact Ascend properties (Simple Life homes), I had the most awful experience with them, very unprofessional & rude! Their job is to make money from people’s deposit!!! Avoid them.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Tahir Abdul based at the Wolverhampton Ascend office.I enquired about a house for myself and my partner recently and he was extremely responsive and helpful considering we took the risk to place our holding fee without a viewing. With that being said we arranged a viewing at a later date and he corresponded with the current tenants to organise this to find a suitable date for all.As my partner wasn’t available to view the property I attended the viewing with my friend and mom and Tahir was extremely welcoming and friendly when showing us round and giving us the run down on the house. We then found out that he’d only just started at the letting agency and that we were his first clients and we were all super shocked as you’d have never have known!Thank you for all your help Tahir during this process, you’ve been fab and have really made it easy for us!Ella Maybury

Very supportive and professional service. Dealt with a lady named Vicky who was very polite, went over and beyond to meet my needs. Paper work was all completed online for our property with no problems.

Not happy at all…. Problem after problem after problem. They don’t answer emails or phone calls. When we moved into our flat it was not cleaned before hand and when questioned about this, they lied to us and said it had been. I then had to deep clean everything which caused my back condition to flare up. The oven was unusable and a safety hazard (it has been signed off as ok to use) and had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement, aswell as an extractor fan. Along with many other issues such as leaks, mould, torn up furniture, marks in all areas of the home, I could go on…. Most recent, the toilet had overflowed the entire bathroom and we was told we would have to wait 4 days for someone to come out as it being a bank holiday weekend. (No one has contacted us since or bothered to answer emails so we had to call the energy helpline to resolve this) As I say, there has been numerous issues that we haven’t had a response to which is extremely frustrating and upsetting as they are quick to demand payments in the beginning stages. If I could give Ascend 0 stars I would. I’m hoping to get a response after writing this as I have exhausted all other options. Myself and my partner have renovated the entire property (with their permission, as it doesn’t require them to do or arrange anything) so it is to a livable standard. Be very careful when renting with ascend!

The worst agency ever. The property management is raciest as they get. They gave me a house with a broken washing machine and its been 5 months to this day they haven’t fixed it. Even the agents doesn’t care for the customers. Please do not buy or rent from this company. You will regret it.

Ascend agent Courtney assisted my wife and I in acquiring the rental property we had enquired about. She called us, explained the terms of the rental and what was required from our side, she then promptly sent us the video to view the property. The process was efficient couldn't ask for more. Thank you Courtney and the Ascend team. We would definitely recommend them.

I strongly recommend the renters to avoid them. I was their tenant and delivered the property in excellent condition. I had £950 as deposit but they claimed £2000 and even threatened me for legal action. They have professional team who know how to claim. A friendly alert to new renters. Please avoid them.

Do not rent off this estate agents they have your money then ignore you and then demand more when havent heard off them or havent replyed emails or answered calls
