I bought my Audi RSQ3 from these guys in December, the sales process was fantastic, nice and quick and no stress even with trading in my old car. I then found a problem with the coolant, they took the car straight back in and repaired under warranty, then a few months later the four wheel drive system packed up, again no arguments they took the car back in and repaired the issue. I have been super pleased with both sides of the service. The gentleman even came out of the workshop and explained to me what the problems were with the car and explained it to me properly and not like I was a young female who had no idea. Great service – NOT!When the red oil can warning light appeared on the dash of my Mini Cooper, I thought I was lucky to get my car seen to in the same week especially since all the other garages were fully booked for weeks in advance. The engine oil service was due and since there was an intermittent softening in the brake pedal, I thought I would get the brake fluid service done at the same time.I received an initial call to inform me that the cost would be over £1,100! In addition to the services and oil leak, I was told the engine rocker cover needed replacing and that the water pump was leaking too. I replied that the rocker cover had been replaced by a mini specialist less than three months earlier, and this was immediately taken off the cost/work required.After receiving the vehicle back, I still had an intermittent softening/sponginess in the brake pedal so I had to wait a few weeks to get it seen by another garage. The garage couldn’t find anything wrong with the brakes, but there were dangerous levels of water in the brake fluid. When I enquired about the water pump leak, the mechanic couldn’t find any water leak or issue with it.So, if you don’t mind being charged for work that has already been done, if you don’t mind being charged for work that doesn’t need doing or if you don’t mind being charged for work that genuinely does need doing but hasn’t been done, then Quins are for you. Their service is delivered in a courteous and convincing manner at no extra charge – YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Purchased an E Class in April this year, since done over 8500 miles on top of the 109k it started with, and it’s the perfect car. Quins also did a gearbox service and replaced a radiator hose, fantastic service from both sales and workshop. 100% recommend!

In May 2022, my MOT was done. The brake pads and discs needed replacing and the cost was no cheaper than a main dealer. While the work was being completed, a single caliper and brake pad wear indicator also needed replacing. The only caliper in stock was twice the normal retail price (c£166) and the brake pad wear indicator was badly fitted. They later offered to correct the work free of charge as a gesture of goodwill! At a push, I would rate this experience of Quins at two stars.Quins had also indicated that I needed a new crank case vent valve/new rocker cover, however given the expense incurred at the MOT, I had these fitted at another garage for a more reasonable price.My most recent visit in August 2022 (see earlier one star review) was more urgent as I had an oil leak. I returned to Quins not out of a sense of ‘loyalty’ (see owner’s response to my review) but because they were the only garage with immediate availability. Quins tried to include replacement of the rocker cover in the quote for the oil repair and when challenged (the work had already been carried out by the other garage), removed this from the quote. Quins excused their error by saying that they had mistakenly added the charge for the rocker cover from an earlier invoice rather than inspecting the car before quoting, and that this was why they had not noticed the newly installed rocker cover. However, it seems highly unlikely that they had not inspected the car as they added a new item, a water pump leak, to the quote too! In addition, as per my previous review, I was charged for a brake fluid service, that was quite simply not carried out.My experience with Quins has not been good. I cannot trust that work has been done or that work that was completed was necessary. They certainly have a very strange way of ‘rewarding loyalty’ as they would put it.

Reasonable price and good customer service. They did some extra work on the car as requested before the sale and were patient and answered all of my questions honestly and truthfully. I have had the car for a year, no issues with it at all and it just passed its MOT with no advisories. Thanks Quins!
