Reserved a new iPhone: it didn’t arrive for a while. Fair enough.Went in to pick it up and use the O2 switching service that they are always advertising…oh bad news they can’t do it today…the computers can’t do it!Ha…sounds like an excuse to give my iPhone to someone else on a new contract to me.And to make matters much worse the assistant, Tinopowia was absolutely obsessed with not getting bad feedback on a form they were going to send me!He wasn’t bothered about getting me the phone I’d reserved/paid for said it could be days, could be weeks he didn’t know. Great. Thanks for the no help.Update on my complaint…I never heard anything from the branch or the head office. Yes you can send a stock answer about online social media but they’re no help either. You should really concentrate on your customer service (or lack of) and maybe read your Trust Pilot too (also appalling).I’ll be taking my complaint to the Ombudsman now and suggest other customers with similar complaints about this branch/O2 to do the same thing (you only have to wait 8 weeks from O2 ignoring your complaint to do this!).AND you’re still advertising the Switch Up service you can’t/don’t (?) provide heavily too…seriously?!

Pre ordered for iphone 15 pro and asked few questions which came to mind as trying first time contract. I would expect to get as much information as I can in that case after paying £50 deposit. But no information on what documents to get the process or any kind of clarity. Had to visit 6 times to hear no’s. First went in after work informing there is not enough time to finish the process, then today once to hear servers are down, second time I have not got my passport finally when went back got my turn after everything and all the time waste I come to know i have not cleared there credit vet. What a treat. At least they need to have bookings when they know it is busy and people have got other jobs. All the staff except couple have been rude always. Not fair heard couple of other customers walking away in front of us.

Was told to go into this store do do a simple sim swap I had credit cards with me to prove who I was and was told that they would not help without a driving licence when I arrived. I had travelled 20 miles to do this. I then asked could I buy a blank sim card so I could use my account on line to do it No" was the answer a total jobs worth unhelpful store. Thanks for the Generic reply. Ive just spoken to your head office to be told if I don't have photo ID you can send a security text to my phone which would have passed security Something which you never suggested just wasted my time instead and sent me away. Perhaps your low level staff need proper training."

My daughter attended this shop and was treated in an absolutely atrocious manner by the man at the front of the store known as daniel, needless to say I have escalated a complaint, which is under investigation, he needs to be dismissed because it was totally unacceptable, the man calling himself a manager supported his colleagues poor conduct, shouted at my daughter for pointing her finger at him and then again telling her not to dare accuse his colleague of lying , yet this is appropriate behaviour for a manager? It absolutely is notThis was a young girl who suffers from social anxiety so it's hard enough for her to feel comfortable talking publicly, so for her to go into a store and have this experience, it really isn't ok

Absolutely no help at all. I need a replacement SIM card, I went in to get one and was told without photo ID I couldn’t have one. I had my bank card and a picture of my passport in my phone but they wouldn’t accept either and they wouldn’t offer any other solution to prove the account was mine. They just could not be bothered to help me at all. I still don’t have a replacement sim because I can’t order online and the o2 shop are useless, so I’m now paying for a sim contract I can’t use.

There is a man with dreadlocks who works at the front of the store called Daniel, he is shockingly rude with no customer service skills, I have had to make a complaint after attending, he then lied to defend himself saying that I came into the store prior for a sim swap and was rude to him however, I have never had a sim swap, unfortunately for him that can be confirmed and will be, I dont tolerate liars

Can't get any phone connection in town of Manchester. For 3 months been hearing they working on the problem and still nothing. Saying unfortunately we can't do anything until they fix the problem. The shop said the same. Can't help you, just have to wait. O2=shocking

I was served by Idris during my time at the O2 store and his service was nothing but exemplary! He was very attentive and understanding of my wants for a new phone, he helped me change everything over with ease and was incredibly patient with me. I left the store very happy and honestly think it was one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a very long time. I have since praised O2 to all my closest friends and family but especially raved about the Manchester Market Street store.

Beyond a shambles. If you could give lower than 1 star I would.Went in to pick up a click and collect on the day it was ready and was told it wasn’t in store. The phone was in fact in store but they had missed it.Tried to phone the store throughout the week to see if it had arrived as the o2 app said it had, but I got no response after several tries. This weekend I went into the store again to get the phone to be told “oh yea thats been here for a week we just didn’t realise it was a click and collect so we didn’t check that area”…. (Why else would I have been in the store??). They then wouldn’t give me the phone become I needed additional ID.I went back in the next day with the relevant ID only to be told that the phone had now passed the 7 day collection period and despite the phone being literally inches away from me on the desk, It had to be returned to the warehouse and resent to the store.I told them this wasn’t good enough. I then had to wait over an hour for the same guy who had caused the issue the previous day to fumble around on the IT system only to be told I couldn’t have the phone for another 3 days as it wouldn’t change the status to picked up.Then I have to spend another 60 mins on with customer service as they don’t understand why the store can’t give me the phone and trying to cancel my contract to get a new phone!!It’s like a circus of clowns with each clown pulling another clown from behind the curtain unable to do the basics of their job. Ive used O2 since I was a teen because it’s always been easy but after this episode ill be switching to EE.
