Village Hotel Bracknell

I’m loving the leisure centre and had dinner with my cycle class tonight at the Bar & Grill. We had fantastic service from Kelsey who couldn’t be helpful enough. Food was good but slow to come. Leisure centre membership discount on the Bar is excellent.

Positives - close to Lapland UK and legoland. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff.Negatives - Extremely loud music from the gym. Food not worthy of price.I regret to say that our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. While the room size was decent, our first-floor room faced the gym, subjecting us to disruptive bass-heavy music until 8 o'clock at night—far from ideal for a family room. The morning brought another round of music starting at 6 o'clock. Although our toddler's good bedtime habits saved us from further inconvenience, it was far from an ideal situation. The dinner service in the restaurant/bar was commendable, with friendly and attentive staff, but the food, particularly the steak and mixed grill, was excessively seasoned, overwhelmingly peppery. Breakfast, however, was satisfactory. Overall, I'm hesitant to consider staying here again. A suggestion for improvement would be to assign families with children to rooms farther away from the gym and its accompanying loud music.

Travelling from hastings to here wasn't bad just a long drive and even longer on the way back.Rooms are OK, shower is nice.Gym looked decent, aswell as the pool.Had steak for dinner, definitely not worth 28quid, or the 10quid for a double rum and coke. But as an over all experience I would still recommend! Friendly staff. And can get busy.I would recommend the staff at the front desk get given a chair to sit on! But that's just my personal opinion.

Eh.. not sure where to start. Was here on a buisness trip for 5 days and having had the choice of all the local hotels this 4.3 star seemed the best choice!The Room: Incredibly dusty, the corners of the room look like they had never been hoovered, the air conditioning was broken (Room 230 by the way). The bathroom was a state, mouldy shower and soap bottles with grime on them. Even the dusty bin was dented.. doesn't give a good look.Service: Everyone there is amazing! However one young girl behind the bar needs some serious customer training. No thanking me for buying some drinks, no small talk, spent her time looking like she'd be anywhere else but here and totally fobbed me off. Really snuffed out my evening. I then ordered the £29 sirloin steak (very nice by the way) no one asked how it was and no one cleared the plate.. even though I waited 20 minutes. I also managed to check out without ever being asked if everything was okay because the woman at the desk wanted to do anything but talk to customers.Reason I didn't flag this up during my stay is because I spent little time during the day in my room and I had all my work gear (Documents and laptops etc with me) and never have trusted someone with access to my room with me not there. Anyway I'm not too sure I'll come back. I'm sure some of the other rooms are nice but I think I got the short straw.

Incredible hotel. Great vibes, fantastic, warm and welcoming staff. Fantastic food and facilities. Family friendly hotel with staff always going above and beyond to make your stay that extra special.

Nice clean hotel, warm welcome. Only real downside to the room was that we couldn't open the window and there was a lot of condensation. A lovely stay - very recommended.The best bit about this hotel is the hospitality staff. Our waitress on day on Kelsey looked after our every need and was quick to show us through the children's buffet - a great idea that both of our children loved. We met the fantastic Assistant manager Charlie who tirelessly over saw the restaurant during 90% of our stay. On the last night we met the team leader Hasan who, although he was very busy, made us feel like nothing was too much hassle. A very nice, welcoming, and hard-working team. Thank you very much for your efforts.We stayed here during half term for a trip to Legoland with a package deal tied to the park. We considered this to excellent value and are looking forward to returning at some point around Easter.

Went to use the pub and grill for the first time, super friendly team! Quick service and amazing food! Especially the manager Charlie who helped allot, and the two bartender gentlemen working at the time who made the best cocktails I’ve had in England!

I am a regular user at the gym after moving from David Lloyd nearby. It’s a great facility with all new equipment . The classes are always available to get on and there is an amazing wide screen spin studio with brilliant instructors. In particular, Jordan Hawes who is also a superb personal trainer.

Member of gym. Can’t comment on rooms Lovely gym really friendly staff. Changing rooms very clean. Always have a coffee and Kurt is always really helpful don’t even have to give our order , he remembers even that we need cold milk and brings order to us. Brilliant service.

Had a one night stay easy check in and out, friendly staff, very clean, spacious room, nice clean gym and swimming facilities!Breakfast included was also good overall would recommend a visit here.One downside is bar restaurant for food is fairly expensive
