ICON Dry cleaners & Launderette

I recently moved to London and was looking for a dry cleaner close to work. I 100% trust and they've done a fantastic job with everything from silk top suits. They are always timely (super fast turn around!) and very friendly. They also give good advice for specific items and are honest with the best way to treat stains. 5 stars for staff of Icon dry clean and laundrette

Loved my experience here. We recently moved house and haven’t been able to get a washing machine installed for a good few weeks. I had what I believe to be a good 3 loads of laundry for a normal machine. I arrived shortly after opening and was great guidance from a lovely man working on how to use the machines. As all my items could be washed together I did one load in the biggest machine and then a drying cycle on the large tumble dryer. Incredibly happy to have clean, dry clothes for the next while. Would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking to do a bit of laundry. I paid £18 total for my massive wash (£10), the stain remover (£1) and my extended dry time of 47 minutes (£7). I believe it was fairly priced for the sheer amount of washing I could get done in a single load (3 loads of a standard home machine). Very satisfied!

New to the neighbourhood and needed a place to wash and dry a duvet as well as dry clothes washed at home. I’m a launderette aficionado having used them regularly since moving to London 20 years ago! It’s really sad how these vital places are being more and more scarce in London. It’s not only a place to wash and dry your clothes but also it’s a bit of a social hub. I decided to try ICON based on reviews and distance from my flat and I’m so glad I chose ICON over the other options. This is the nicest, most modern launderette I have ever used anywhere in London (and I really have used lots!). Brand new machines that can take cash or be activated with an app so you can pay digitally. You can also opt to not use the app and pay using your card at the till. The washing machine price includes washing powder and softener. It’s automatically dispensed which means not only do you not have to lug extra stuff with you but you also don’t have to worry about whether you’re dosing too little or too much. Dryers are operated in the same way - by coin, app or card at the register. Special mention to Katerina who works there and has become a highlight of my week! I’m moving back to South London soon and will genuinely miss my weekly trip here.

Wonderful experience. Very fast and modern machines which you can use with coins or via an app on your phone. I was in and out within 1.25hrs (I had 1 large and 1 medium wash for ref). Staff were super helpful and explained how to use the machines and how they work. You don't need to bring detergent or softener as it's all pumped into the machine and smells fresh. Highly recommend!

Took my husbands new suit in to be dry-cleaned ready for a wedding in Italy. When collected there were 2 rust / burn marks on the suit trousers on the front.. which we knew where not there when we took it in as we photographed it on my husband just before taking it to the cleaners. They basically said it was like that before hand and have not taken any responsibility of these clear and obvious marks. My husband and myself are so annoyed that no one takes responsibility of an accident.. we all know it happens. But to be questioned by the owner ‘why would you take a new suit into the dry cleaners’ such a silly question. Used them so much but now we wash our hands of them and warn other people against the hideous customer care.
