Fantastic day at Asta Golf Club. Great course and nice cuppa afterwards in the golf club. Great place for informal golf parties /stags. Bar too and very decent drink prices x

What an amazing course to play. On the Islands for a few weeks so naturally brought my clubs and trolley. Played Whalsay last Friday and loved it but Asta was so different. Met 2 locals Robbie and Stevie and they graciously allowed me to play along. Wonderful time and the par 3 7th will be giving me nightmares for years to come... th was a great hole too over the edge of the loch... Hopefully a few more rounds before I depart....

Excellent 9hole course,plenty parking space,clubhouse you can relax in and enjoy a cuppa.

Played Asta Classic course a few times between the 7th to 13th June 2016 and I must say it is probably one of the most interesting 9 hole courses I have ever played. What a fantastic selection of par 3s, ranging from a 58yrd to over 200yds all played around the lock.Small greens, water in play, wonderful use of undulating ground, stunning views, this is how good honest golf looks like. Dont think for one minute that this is a par 3 course because it is certainly not, a par 5 2nd with the lock in play is wonderful, then a challenging par 4 back followed by a great run of delightful par threes its just incredible..Look out for the green keeper, what a star, friendly, chatty and proud of his course, please make the effort to visit this gem of a golf course, you will take away with you such wonderful memories that will stay with you a lifetime.Michael Williams P.G.A. Nice little golf course. Well kept and good variety of holes. Clubhouse is great also. Very enjoyable to play.
