Always has a small art exhibition in the gallery. Annie's Cakery Bakery cafe, at one end of gallery, is award-winning. Further space is ideal for small art classes and a sales area for member artists, and a book exchange.

A very interesting space in this small Somerset town, run by very pleasant staff and with a great selection of beautiful and well priced Xmas gift ideas made by local crafts people.Well recommended, not to be missed and the cafe is good too.

I attempted to go to the Arts Centre for lunch today (Saturday). The sign outside said it served until 2.30pm and the menu said 2pm but at 1.30pm we were told that the kitchen was closed, despite seeing other people eating there. When I asked further, they said that it was standard on a Saturday, and were rather dismissive when I suggested that their signage should reflect their actual schedule.

The cafe was amazing! The view, the staff and the food were all great. My friend is vegan and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary requirements, making waffle batter just for her and offering to adapt other items on the menu. The chef even came over to ask how the waffles were (which was really good). I can't wait to go back.

Great to see an Art centre in such a small town.Lovely cafe. Liked seeing an Art workshop in action. Unusual local craft for sale. Most of the staff were friendly. Others need a bit of work.

This was a little outing that was needed while recovering from surgery (to remove cancer). Although I was very tired at the end of the short visit it was just good to get outdoors. Well done on having something vegan in your cafe and dairy free milks for the coffee. Amazing art work - and very nice coffee. Hopefully will come for an art class sometime in the future.

I have now visited three timesWhat a beautiful, atmospheric building, to bring to life its many exhibitions of very high calibre photography, paintings, crafts and textiles. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, most certainly a place I would like to visit again!!

A lovely building perfectly suited for the art works we went to view.We also enjoyed a yummy lunch and very good coffee in the cafe. The service was excellent and the food well presented. We sat inside to admire the display of pictures and ceramics. But there was seating outside too.

Really nice experience and very good food at the café. Café owners were very helpful and did not rush us after they closed.

Excellent place. Probably best coffee in town at present and at very reasonable price as well. Cakes, cheese etc. All sourced from local suppliers so tell community place. Outdoor seating perfect for the summer and a good amount of parking as well.Worth a visit if in town.
