Pia's Artisan Bakery
A must visit if you're in the area (or go out of your way to come here - you won't be disappointed). I've tried almost everything on the menu now and it's all great, highly recommend the salt beef bagel, the brownie and the cinnamon swirl.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Pia's today.Great toasty with delicious bread and homemade pesto.Pastries were very very good. Lovely find in North Shields.

Pia's Artisan Bakery is a breath of fresh air In the area where everything is prepared from scratch. The two young ladies I met who were running it today were friendly, knowledgeable about their products and hardworking. There is also an outside seating area where teas and coffees are served.

Great addition to North Shields. Sourdough is excellent. So far I've also tried a delicious merguez sausage roll and a veg curry pastie. Both were outstanding & great value. I can see me becoming a regular customer here!

Popped in for a coffee whilst I was a bit lost around the area.. couldn't resist a Portuguese pastry and a chocolate croissant.. the coffee was exceptional. Coming from a coffee snob ... definitely be going back when I'm around again . Sometimes it is good to be lost.

Bought sourdough...crisp outside, moist inside.... outstanding. Had coffees (me n him) and raspberry cupcake with a topping so delish, plus devine Portuguese pastry. Be back

A lovely quaint bakery, I had a lovely sourdough ploughman's sandwich which was on one of the best breads I've ever had I'll definitely be buying a full loaf soon!
