Refused a price match without reason.They offer a price match but refused us, saying they only do this against a list they keep, i.e. it's not a true price match and their advertising is misleading. For example, I quoted a Langley Guitars price to them, and they quickly said they wouldn't honour it. They said it needed to be a physical shop with the item in stock. That's exactly what Langley Guitars is - and the item is in stock. Then they just said they wouldn't price match against Langley. The only reason must be that Langley are cheaper and PMT know it. But that's hardly a price match promise and grossly misleading. Best avoid.

First time buying an electric guitar, and i managed to find a great quality one (Yamaha Pacifica) . The staff were so friendly about it and were extremely helpful :) I also liked the music that was playing in the shop at the time, lol. Will definitely come back again if i was to ever get another electric!

What a wonderful establishment! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Big smiles and very engaging. My experience of buying an amp, mic and performance gear from PMT, Cambridge was fantastic. Jack was particularly helpful and personable. He explained everything in user friendly terms and went out of his way to make the ‘demo’ trial of amp and mic as comfortable and fun as possible. I commend this store, highly, and I will certainly be revisiting this brilliant place. There was such an upbeat dynamic amongst the staff!

Very nice store for musicians to find instruments and their accessories. I do think it could be a bit neater as there were sections where stuff was just in piles with no organization. I did not interact with the staff so I can't give an opinion on the service. Overall I think it's a neat place to visit.

Rudest most unprofessional staff. Two of them stood having an argument behind the till whilst customers were on shop floor and I was waiting to be served. After i was, i overheard swearing at a very loud volume from the bloke in the purple shirt with a moustache who looks like a BTEC Freddie Mecury with pubes on his head but with none of the charisma. This was on Saturday afternoon with kids and parents and general public in store. Shop and floor is filthy too. Sort it out.

I wanted to try out a synthesizer that wasn't in stock at the Cambridge store. PMT were really helpful and ordered the synth from their Leeds store for me to try out and it arrived within a few days, with no obligation for me to purchase it. Thanks for your help!

Really helpful staff who take time to help make the right buying decision. They also indulged a mum with a small child who just wants to use a drum kit. It's a big place with kit in abundance. Excellent.

Every time I visit, staff playing with instruments, no time to serve customers, nobody greeting or saying Hi. Feels like there's a permanent renovation and stock shuffling project in progress. London store terrific and helpful. Cambridge only seems to be in business because there's no competition.
