Cozy and wonderful place. I’ve been in many times since I came to UK and honestly, I’ve never seen this variety of chocolate before. Once you step in the store you can find a wide range of chocolate to choose. Plus, they have treated me as if I was one of the best customer ever letting me try some of them. Not only is the service lovely and nice, but also the help they povide me with when I need some suggestions for a gift comes in handy. Few places have clerks with such a shiny disposition when it comes to advise someone. Promise, they’ll live up to your expenctations!

Everything very nicely laid out. When I took my items up for purchase the lady handed me a loyalty card so a good way to save on purchases going forward. Would recommend a visit especially with Christmas coming up

Always go with quality stuff n in chocolate Hotel Chocolate is best for their quality n huge variety in chocolate. Best for giving gift specially in Xmas time. Superb staff n great service I received. Nice location just in the middle of St Albans city heart. Recommend n always go with Hotel Chocolate.

The staff are amazing (roz) spend all the time showing and explaining products great salespeople. This shop has a ice cream maker as well for posh ice creams.The shop is of reasonable size has plenty of products and variety of products.The shop was also very clean.10/10 the staff have done the company outstanding I will change this to my new hotel chocolat as opossed to mk this was a better experience.

Delicious. A wide selection of chocolates, chocolate bars and gift boxes. There are so many different flavors and fillings that anyone can find something that they like. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate but I enjoy the odd good quality treat from this shop. The staff are always very nice and eager to help.

Pre Xmas crush! Staff as ever helpful, polite and friendly. I never have a bad experience in there! Certainly not the St Albans branch.Busy but they be kept folk moving and it was all good humoured tooGood to range for Xmas.Love that they're British and also ecologically aware.Why buy anywhere else??10/10

Amazing experience with superb customer service. The two women working upstairs today were great. They were very welcoming and ensured we were well looked after even though it was getting quite busy. They answered all of our questions and we left with a treasure trove of chocolates (and ice cream too)! I would definitely recommend this location and hope management (if they aren't the managers of course) recognise the efforts of those two today. Absolutely thrilled :)

When I lived near St. Albans, this was one of my favorite chocolate shops! I loved all the different varieties of chocolates, and unusual ingredients such as chilly. I always received great service, and chocolates always tasted great! Now I no longer eat sugar (absolutely no white sugar, occasionally raw cane sugar), nor do I live nearby, so I don't visit this shop anymore.

Hard to walk past and not get dragged in by the kids, especially for the 3x small bar offer they do. It's lovely chocolate, British despite the name, and caters for all - small relatively cheap bars up to huge boxes, always good seasonal ideas, and the new ice cream is excellent. Plus often have freebies, well worth a visit for that alone. Staff are always very friendly, very happy, keen to help. Christmas selection is amazing, love the winter specials, and the Easter Eggs are some of the best I've ever had.
