We had a wonderful time making the medium purse and I upgraded to the backpack. Such a cool experience and a beautiful keepsake from our time in Edinburgh.

Islander Edinburgh Workshop
The Islander Handbag Workshop is such a fun way to spend an hour in Edinburgh. You select the color of your bag, the straps, and the flap. Jill was very friendly and her instructions were easy to follow. You can even purchase extra straps during the workshop to take home and change the look of your bag whenever you want. My handbag is the best souvenir I have from Scotland!

Wow. An absolutely amazing experience. Chris was fantastic and a true gem at the workshop. He was so helpful and showed interest in all of the tourists and where we came from which was very nice and felt very welcoming. I would go back in a heartbeat. 5 star experience il never forget.

Incredible staff and high quality items. The workshop was a fun experience with a lovely, personalized souvenir. I highly recommend this shop, buy your Islander purses here if you can. Lots of selection in a smaller shop. I recommend booking your workshop in advance and you can also upgrade your purse size as well. Lots of fun and must do!

Amazing experience to make my own purse. Lovely sustainable products to choose from and Jill the host and trainer was warm and welcoming from start to finish. It was great knowing I customised and made my own one of a kind scottish purse! Will definitely recommend.

Had the best time crafting my handbag here on 9/28 with the 5 pm class. Had to reschedule my time and received prompt response through Instagram and easily rebooked over the phone. Great group and even better instructor! One of my most memorable moments during my time in Scotland.

Enjoyed this experience and Jill who helped us create our fabulous bags, with some lovely conversation & Edinburgh recommendations too. Lots of colours to choose from to make a unique personal bag, I personally went for the mini size which can hold my phone, some cards, hand cream &keys - perfect for me!

I just did the workshop. I found it online before my trip but decided to check out the shop in real life first. Chris was so nice, he invited me to the workshop area to have a look around and then decide whether to boon the workshop. Which I did! I went there a few hours later and was lucky that it was q uiet day. We had a lovely international group and were chatting apart from the satchel making.Absolute recommendation! It is so mich nicer to create your own purse instead of purchasing one of the Chinese ones in the touristy shops... so 10/10 experience and great souvenir! :)

I had a blast making a handbag here! You get to pick the colors you want from multiple choices to make a personalized bag. Thomas led a very fun class and I really enjoyed chatting with the other class attendees. I hope to come back again!
