Simply disgusting behaviour by both the lady and the man working there refusing to accept card payments to pay the energy bills - They have once added 20p which is what they pay for card payments, but they have then rejected every card payments leaving us without energy for their own pettiness. Needless to say the man and the lady were very rude, and the man was smelling very bad and was continuously looking at his phone when talking to us. I am utterly disgusted, avoid.

When we moved to the area 10 yrs ago because its facade we didn't realise for some time that it was a newsagent. Once we did we became regular customers because 9f the service we received from the owners & staff.Everythi g was great until eventually the owners decided to sell the business. The new owners decided to increase their prices and scale down the number of staff they employed. It was a disaster but thankfully it was only owned by them before they decided to sell it. Now due to the owner Mario investing his time & money the shop is once again a delight to visit. His staff Mark , Bev & Josey are the ones I seemed to get served by when I visit & they are always welcoming & helpful. Along with Mario they could not work any harder and the results of all their hard work is its once again a delight to visit. Ted

Been buying balloons here for years. Ordered a large 1 and 8 and was told £20. Noticed Hobby Craft charge £10. When I asked why such a large difference the guy told me the helium they put in there balloons lasts over a week and Hobby Craft will only last two days. Plus he said there prices are set by the manufacturer of the balloons.Well let’s see how long the Hobby Craft balloon stays up for. At the moment feel they are massively over charging!

Great shop with lots of cards, balloons and party things but that's not why it gets 5*. The chap who served me today was so helpful, polite, friendly and welcoming. No question was left unanswered and even though he was mega busy as he was on his own, he helped everyone quickly and efficiently.

This shop has always been really good for anything related to special occasions or if you need any gifts. Always really enjoyed shopping in there.

I've order 2 lots of separate balloons and both have lasted along time . . Lastest one was on 24 March for an 80th and both balloons are still as purchase . . Very helpful and great service . . Thank you

I needed to return an item to Amazon and was surprised to find out about a service I hadn't heard of before called Amazon no box required and even better that I could drop the package off at Paperlane. The shop assistant was great, really helpful, friendly, efficient. The whole process was so quick and easy. Will definitely be using this service again.

Balloons bought paper lane 3 days later 36 00 pound birthday balloons did not last more than 3 day. Helium should last minimum of 7 day . Send photo complained they said it only guarantee only 24 hour if I waited to give my mom something no special it bought it on line for fraction of the amount so bare in mind when buying balloons

Great shop and staff but newer owners are selling Prime for £9.99 That sort of greedy behaviour has lost a long term customer.

I had a gender reveal on the 19th and I left paper lane in charge of my reveal box only taking an envelope to them with the gender!! they did an amazing job! not one compliant they presented the box and decorated it and also delivered it to my destination. AND FOR A VERY GOOD PRICE!!! I am forever grateful for the staff at paper lane for making my day perfect!!
