Appalling company to deal with. First time they came out to measure for glass tops for 11 pieces of furniture, delivered tops twice , majority did fit, came out third time and ok.Went back to them for antique mirrored glass for behind and aga, went to showroom saw sample on display, was given a tile size sample, still not sure so ordered a 300x300 sample for £25, loved sample, it was the same as showroom sample and image on their 12leaflet . So duly of . When delivered as absolutely nothing like any sample, had to delay Aga installation. Nightmare to deal with, different story every time I spoke with them. Promised to call me numerous times with updates, no call. Rang to be told person dealing with it on holiday!Newly collected mirror has several faults on it, sent emails and photos, told would ring back, still nothing.Totally incompetent and unprofessional. Apparently the person doing the marbling is one of the owner/directors! Like I say unprofessional.If I could put 0 or even minus * I wouldWell yesterday they said would re make mirror, I requested all three parts were replaced, purely as they have continually said it's a bespoke product so therefore needs continuity, was told that Alec production manager would contact me, still waiting! Speaks volumes and confirms everyone above

This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I’ve used them a few times now and they never fail to shock at just how disorganised, slap dash, unprofessional and non-communicative they are. Their work is shoddy, their attitude is unprofessional, their communication is poor, and their customer service and after sales service is non-existent.The last job they did for us was supposed to be reasonably simple. They had to clad a pillar on 3 sides and a chimney breast wall in mirror. They managed to screw up both – royally and repeatedly.They visited so many times to do 2 simple jobs, it was embarrassing. Despite sending someone out to measure (several times), they may as well have guessed the dimensions because they were so wrong. They came out with excuse after excuse including:- The mirror wasn’t put on the van- The mirror was damaged during the production process- The wall was mis measured.- The measurements didn’t allow for an inset fire or a glass shelf cover- It’s not the mirror that’s wonky, it’s the shelf underneath (I kid you not!)- The mis cut mirror cannot be removed from the wall because it will shatter into a million piecesAttached are images of the mirror they permanently glued to my chimney breast wall. At either side it has a gap of around 3mm rising to c.12mm in the middle. You can put your finger under the gap. It was supposed to have a gap of c.6mm all the way across to allow for a thin glass cover to sit on the shelf below the fire.So, not only could we not slide the shelf cover in place, there’s also a dirty big unsightly ‘arc’ at the bottom of the mirror?! They insisted the shelf had bowed and it wasn’t their mirror at fault?! A spirit level and laser level disabused them of that notion!They dragged it out a few more months before finally coming with the replacement mirror only to calmly explain they still could not fit it as they weren’t confident in getting the damaged mirror off the wall without it breaking into a million pieces. We have 3 dogs, so this wasn’t an option. So, they took it away again and came back at a much later date with one of the more ‘experienced’ fitters (one of the Directors I believe). He said the same thing!I reiterated an offer I had made during the last aborted visit which was, I would accept the faulty mirror if I was given a substantial discount and a replacement shelf cover that fit the now reduced space.The replacement shelf cover arrived a week or so later and I mentioned again that I had not received my refund. He said he would pass the information on. I heard nothing.I have emailed every contact I have at this awful company, and I don’t even get the courtesy of an acknowledgement. My last email gave them a deadline to respond otherwise I would pursue the small claims court route. I contacted their social media rep on Facebook, and she said she would make sure they were made aware of it. Nothing, no response.I judge a company not how it performs when things go well but how it performs when things go awry. MGP are simply atrocious. I know full well that mistakes and accidents happen, it is a part of life, but it is unforgiveable when they refuse to address them and just give you the silent treatment. I firmly believe their philosophy must be that most people haven’t got the time or inclination to pursue them, so they deliberately just don’t respond in the hope that people get fed up. I am of the opinion they’re happy to take the hit on the precious few who do follow up their complaints as the odds are in their favour that most don’t. This kind of arrogance is breath taking especially when the job cost c.£1800.So, my next step is a small claims court application. Like someone said in another slating of this company, just make sure you pay by credit card and then at least you have a reasonably quick and straightforward means of redress. Lesson learned.

I should have looked at the other reviews I had the same shoddy show; they took 3 months to fit splashback in my kitchen when they promised 16th Dec. I paid half immediately. Then mess up after mess up. They got measurements wrong 4 times! cut glass wrong 4 times! and had to take a piece off newly plastered wall which needed replastering. They don't care about service and gave only a 10% discount which certainly doesn't cover time and costs. i would not use this company ever again.

What an amazing company. Needed someone to hang a large very heavy mirror. Rang yesterday, they arrived this morning. So professional, friendly and efficient. No dramas, just got on with the job. Delighted with the result and would highly recommend them,

I was recommended this place by the team who will be doing our kitchen as they said MGP did had good quality products and were affordable. Unfortunately I was unable to test that advice as I was immediately put off by the front of house receipt staff. As soon as we walked in and attempted to look around the showroom the staff member stopped us to ask What do you want?" and continued to be extremely rude and dismissive. Sighed at all 3 questions we had for them and practically ran back to the desk when said we would look around on our own. But instead we just left

Disgusting service from this company, I paid for and was invoiced for 6mm mirrors to cover fitted wardrobes in my daughters room. I got everything thing prepped and made sure the doors were cleaned and handles removed prior to fitting. On the fitting day 3 of the mirrors were smashed during fitting. Shortly after fitting a further 3 cracked around the handles. After a week of chasing this company to get these replaced I noticed that 4mm mirrors are fitted and.not 6mm which I paid for. When I phoned MGP to inform them that the wrong thickness had been fitted I was told to make an official complaint. I made this complaint by email and received a disgusting reply from one of their sales directors. Stating that the cracked mirrors are my fault as I supplied the door handles that MGP fitted. Made no apology or effort to rectify this issue.I made a successful claim on my credit card for a full refund under section 75 of the sales of good act.If you are going to use MGP make sure everything you pay for is on the invoice and pay on a credit card. When it does go wrong you can make a claim.

Could not be happier, from visit to the showroom to the fitting. There was an error that was quickly rectified: looks fantastic!

First class service. We ordered some glass for a door where we wanted the cherry blossom design to be continuous over 6 panes of glass. The glass was made to my measurements and it was made exactly to the right size. The people at MGP North East were really helpful and were happy to explain the processes involved. The price seemed very reasonable for a bespoke service.

We wanted a sandblasting picture depicting a typical scene from our homeland Kerala in South India. We tried several places and our kitchen designer recommended MGP. Right from the start we have nothing but praise for the way we were guided through the process. Not having an idea just a vision of what we wanted we were helped by Emily who had been so patient. Emily introduced us to Alec and the two of them helped to bring our vision to reality. All the staff at MGP have been so polite and easy to deal with. We highly recommend the Company.
