Nazareth House Northampton

A fantastic home. Staff are kind caring not just for the patients but for their families too! The food given is home cooked and centered on their needs ie soft diet, thickened fluids. We have been very pleased with treatment given to granddad.i would definitely recommend Nazareth house .

My mother spent two weeks here . The lack of care my mother received while she was in respite was unbelievable. If mum refused food that was it no food was offered. My mother is diabetic and most days me and my sister had to go and give our mother lunch . Often her blood sugars were dangerously low . We never saw any residents in the communal areas . My mother was always in her room on her own . Would we recommend this home .... most definitely not . Terrible

Elderly Mother was looked after very well here. The management and staff that I had any dealings with are excellent, kind and very caring with the residents.There seems to be lots of activities arranged to keep the residents both mentally and physically active.The premises are looked after very well considering it's design and age, as are the gardens. The atmosphere seems very relaxed but safe and always welcoming to families & friends.It's always spotless and is one of the very few in the town that doesn't smell of urine. I often visit local care homes for my job and have seen the sorry state of some of them, believe me Nazareth House is one of the top care homes in town.Most importantly the staff are lovely and could not be faulted in any way, my Mother was exceptionally happy here and grew very fond of many of the care staff that looked after her.

My mum was at Nazareth House for 18 months prior to her death. She settled in right away and was very happy here. The staff are so caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. Their empathy is fantastic and they were fantastic to mum always and were a great comfort to us as a family in the few days up to her death. She didn’t want to go into hospital and they looked after her to the very end. Thank you to all the dedicated staff for their care. Mum never lost her dignity thanks to their help and care.

Depending who you get as your caring team (some of carers are wonderful and cannot be faulted should this be the case across the board it would be a 5star+ rating) resulting in inconsistent care, praying for death would be a better option when you are at mercy of non doers

Fantastic facility without this place our mum would not have survived previous home. Amazing Staff and superb care all round

Fantastic staff, nothing to much trouble. Always there to answer any questions. Mum is in the best place.
