This is the best place for halal food. The price is a bit more than normal but the quality and variety. It has halal meats, nuggets, sausages and other items you can find in the subcontinent. Definitely do go there and buy stuff if you want good food but as mentioned. Do note that price is a bit more.

Good place with good availability. But, MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, their customer assistance is AWFUL compared to Krishna Foods. The girls are so poor in terms of how they people and upon me sharing this with my partner, I heard them share between them was too far from what they were paid for and continued to give no respect and laughed about it and continued to show no respect. I wish they had Name Badges so that I could mention their work in my review here. So unprofessional. They will do better business without the Telugu girl with the pop cut who is disrespectful to all the customers. The best they can do is start with is teaching them what good customer service is because none of them seem to know it.

I love this vast emporium of all kinds of staples and goodies with a focus on Asian/Indian/Middle Eastern/“far east”/ also some African flavours - basically leave Europe and keep eating your way through. So friendly, incredible value, huge variety. Fresh and dried and frozen. Veg and meat/fish. Go!

I buy certain things almost every week, always the same which I am happy with. This time I decided to try fish from the big frozen seafood fridges. I got 1kg baby shark. This fish had a weird, bad smell and I had sick stomach for an 1hr and a half afterwards. Although the fish looks good in the packages, do not risk it

This place is good if you wanna pick necessary item. They have a Bangladeshi product department so Bengali can enjoy block fish and whole fish from here. They share service of cutting fish.Materials are expensive of 30 pence than others .

Just back from a visit to Spice of Asia. Quality place! Their selection of fruits and vegetables are brilliant, particularly the Indian vegetables that you don't easily get it elsewhere! They are specialised in Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, Nepalese, Middle Eastern, African & Chinese items and are Very Well stocked I must say! From snacks to ready made batter to Pooja aids (wicks, camphor, incense cones etc.), they have everything. Round to the butcher's, they have a great selection of meats and cuts. French trimmed rack of lamb and saddle were my personal favourites. They are 100% Halal. Adnan the butcher was very professional and know his trade well! Wide selection of frozen fish is available and butcher can cut it for you upon request. The owner Neil was very friendly and courteous.Sana & Jumana, the two lovely ladies at the checkout couldn't be more helpful will be back. 100% Recommended!

Great variety of local Indian food. However massive disappointment recently in terms of Mangos purchased twice in a month. First time it was so called Alphonso small crate half of mangoes were spoiled , recently yesterday only I got another variety of mangoes (Kesar) whole lot was rotten from inside except one fine mango..I think store need to check quality of crates randomly as this can cause serious health issues if consumed...as small crate costs good £12.99 with zero quality checks and food safety assurance.

A well stocked and well attended shop. As a gentleman from the global west who arguably watches too much YouTube I like to explore global tastyness. The staff have been consistently knowledgeable and patient.

Neat and clean place. All items are labelled and priced properly. Variety of substances and a very clean place unlike other places on Gorgie Road. You need to be mindful of prices if you are comparing with other Indian/Asian stores as not all items are cheap in Spice of Asia.
