Cathedral Landscapes’ understanding of their client’s wishes, and ability to deliver is quite phenomenal. Their attention to detail makes such a difference, and their patient explanations to complete amateurs at garden design makes them stand-out.Derek and Paul came round to review our small terraced house garden and patiently listened to our aspirations to transform it from a hideous mess to a new attractive space that we could enjoy. They made a few suggestions and agreed that they could deliver our design thoughts.We confirmed a programme and listened to their ideas on paving slabs and clay pavers. They calmly suggested that what we had chosen was sub-optimal and encouraged us to think far more boldly. Their client management skills are quite superb, and we were more than happy to be guided by two professionals with many years of experience of a range of different projects and clients.What they constructed, after quite a few redesigns, and endless patience on their part, is the best garden in the Northern hemisphere. While this may be just a little bit of hyperbole, it would be hard to imagine any client of theirs more satisfied than we are.

Derek and Paul are great guys, very trustworthy and people you can just leave to get on with it. They were the only people to come round to quote with a notebook and measure everything thoroughly before quoting the job. Derek asked for our budget and worked things around to make everything fit within that.They were very consultative throughout and we’ve got a better garden as a result of it.Thanks guys

Derek and his team completed a large project for us which involved extending and replacing a patio, adding a new second patio, creating a millboard decking area and renovating a tired looking garage.Derek listened closely to our ideas and provided expert advice on materials and methods required to achieve them. He coordinated the work of other tradesmen (electrician, plumber, renderer) to get the whole project completed. Throughout the project the team has been very focussed on the fine details of the plan and have executed everything to a very high standard. We are delighted with the transformation and would whole-heartedly recommend them.

Derek and his team did an excellent job with our back garden. We were very impressed with how thorough he was in the beginning and talked us through the whole project and what would be expected. We had some idea of what we wanted, and Derek helped us shape this and provide his own ideas of what we could do, which we really valued. It took us a long time to get him booked in (5 months, so book well in advanced), but when he confirmed a date, the work was completed in good time and completed with excellent quality. He was conscious of doing an excellent job, but also considered the implications of the decisions too. For example, we asked for an area to be covered in patio slabs, and Derek mentioned that we also need to consider the drainage required for such a job. He factored this into the work, and given the rain we have had over the past couple of months, we've been very thankful of the knowledge he had to ensure that the job is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. We would highly recommend Derek to others and will happily use him again.
