Coleman & Starkey dental practice

My wife and I went to the practice for the first time on Monday. After booking an appointment by phone for dental hygiene, we were told that our first appointment ( as it was written on the leaflet received by post ) was a complete oral examination with a written report. We paid quite a lot for the first appointment and we haven't received anything in writing. Today I went back for the dental hygiene ( not a really good organisation during the Covid pandemic ) and, after only 20 minutes, the doctor finished his job. When I went home I checked my teeth and there is still tartar on my teeth. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Went there in December for my first dentist appointment in quite some time. Thought I'd go private in the hope of good service. The appointment was fine and the x-rays etc. But the promises made about what happens after, for example the 'detailed' report following your appointment didn't materialise. Seems standards have slipped a little of late....given the price you pay.

Excellent, thorough, friendly and professional service. Mike Starkey, provided a fantastic service leaving me feeling very assured and happy with my dental health. Would highly recommend.

I has 2 teeths need take out.I paid their total is 728 pounds.but with the second teeth They made me had infection after few hours.after take out tooth you can’t eat anything so can’t told by me.I came bạck there to check and they told me had infection.but after that 1 hours I called a lot time they don’t answer, they abandoned me while I needed them.I go to Emergency and stay in hospital 5days.doctor told me very lucky because I came right time.oh my God. I went through terrible pain and horrible long days of making the wrong choice when choosing this place. The incision under my neck will follow my whole life

A fantastic dental practice. Mike Starkey has been my dentist for over 15 years and I cannot recommend him highly enough. All the staff are lovely and I would never contemplate going anywhere else.

Gutted. I asked if I was due a refund due to COVID as my wife hasn’t seen a dentist in 2020 and my filling was cancelled. I was told that if I wanted a refund I would get only 2 months and then Coleman and Starkey would cancel my Denplan contract and I would have to become a normal fee payer. I asked why and was told “because we can”. I was also told that they appreciated me continuing to pay £66 per month as that kept them going during lockdown. Mike Starkey didn’t even have the decency to talk to me, he conducted his discussion via a proxy. I’ve now had to find a new dentist. I’m extremely disappointed in Mike Starkey especially as he is well aware of my ongoing issue with Oral Cancer

Mike Starkey has been my dentist for over 15 years and, as someone who has always had a dread of going to the dentist, I cannot recommend him, and the whole dental practice, highly enough! Everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional - front desk staff, dental assistants and hygienists (Elaine is my hygienist and she gave me brilliant advice about my cleaning technique which has really helped improve my brushwork). Everyone is up-to-date with covid-19 regulations which is very reassuring. I felt completely safe and cared for this year when I needed some treatment. Thank you, Coleman & Starkey, for such great service!

I've been going here since I was 2 years old (now 24!) and will never ever go elsewhere. Although I only see Mike Starkey once a year, it's so lovely that he remembers everything :). Extremely professional and honest, everything you want in a dentist.The hygienists are all amazing too and they always manage to make my teeth look sparkly and new. They also like to talk about tooth hygiene throughout the appointment which is extremely handy to know.

Been with Coleman & Starkey for over a year now. Had a few bad experiences at other dentists locally but my whole experience with the team here has been absolutely fantastic. Really great customer service by reception staff, appointments were quick considering the pandemic & the dentist was really superb and put my mind at ease. Would highly recommend!
