We hired what later turned out to be an over priced hedge trimmer (look for into buying) - after spending a ridiculously long time on paper work, we could have hired a car. Left a ridiculously large deposit (£266), again the car analogy probably works here. We finally started the work. Only to find out the hedge trimmer would work for 20seconds before cutting out. A quick google search pointed towards one of four issues. All maintenance related. So back we went. No they can’t fix it no they don’t have another and n they can’t help. So our long planned weekend of works for my elderly parents came to a halt. They did promise to get back to us and arrange a free hire and two days on we are yet to hear from them. Hopefully the refund will go through as promised…..
