I would highly recommend using FJ Brown. Jim has been a great help in providing our architectural design for our extension, together with giving us advice on building regulations and planning. 5 star service all round.

His advice and knowledge was very helpful, he gave us some great ideas we hadn't thought of. Communication has been excellent and the final drawings were fantastic. I’ve done a couple of extensions to my home now and both times the obvious place to go was FJ Brown, explain what you want and they take care of making sure it’s design and down right, couldn’t recommend them enough.Friendly, experienced, and make sure the jobs done right which is the key thing when it’s the your home.

I highly recommend F J Brown & Co Limited. We were looking to have an extension built on our house and I didn't know where to start. F J Brown was recommended to me by a friend who had recent work carried out by them. I got in touch and they couldn't be more helpful, always on hand to answer any queries on building work. Jim gave us a range of ideas, drew up plans that we were happy with and helped us with planning application which was granted within a few weeks. Very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to use them again should I need any assistance with building work in the future.

Had Jim round to help us with an opening in a existing wall we required. He came when he said he would and talked to us throughout and kept asking us if we were happy with his proposals. He did the structural design details and had them over to us in 2-3, much faster than we expected.We've used Jim before and would 100% use him again and would certainly recommend FJ Brown to anyone needing assistance.

Jim was punctual with all appointments, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable in relation to planning guidelines, building regs etc.Our technical drawings were swiftly prepared and Jim liaised with both the structural engineer and our builder. He explained the planning procedure to us and submitted our plans to the council on our behalf; making the process pretty seamless.Jim was always on hand for advice.
