KRL External Cleaning & Roof Repairs

Have we had a new roof? No, but it certainly looks like we have. We had our roof cleaned and treated yesterday and to say we're happy with the results is an understatement. From start to finish the service from James and Conor was fantastic. Friendly, hard working and professional, you couldn't ask for two better guys. The roofs on the row of houses we live have always had lots of moss on them, that comes from the type of tiles we have, but until yesterday we really didn't realise how much. The before and after pictures tell their own story, no words needed. There clearly was going to be a lot of mess as the moss was being jet washed off the roof, but this was all cleaned up afterwards and all the moss taken away (and there were 11+ bags of the stuff!).We would 100% recommend these guys. Very happy customers indeed.

I was looking for quotes for work as i had small leak in one of the bedrooms that was starting to get worse. After trying to get quotes from 3 places (one didn’t turn up, another said I needed work doing on the roof which turned out to be incorrect), James and his team broke the work down into affordable and (to the untrained eye) work that needed to be done now (I.e. fix the leak) and what needed to be done in the near future (pointing work on the wall). James managed to fit me on the the day after I phoned and the work was done in a friendly, professional manner with no drama. Jordan who did the work was great with my son (he is autistic) and kept the noise down to a minimum to help my lad. All in all, they were great and will happily use them again.

I was finally able to see the colour of my paving and tiles on the driveway and back garden after 3 years!!I cannot recommend these guys enough, I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Despite promises that any subsequent rectification if the chimney repair wasn’t 100% would be sorted out, the reality is ignored voicemails and text messages (I’ve been chasing for months now and have given up). The work was to repair the flaunching and also, as they advised, repair lead flashing round the base so that water would stop dripping down the chimney when it rained. Not only did neither of these stop the rain coming down, sections of the lead have fallen off the roof. I have had the work looked at and the verdict is unsurprising poor. I cannot comment on their other services, however, before considering KRL for any chimney repair just take into account that they won’t officially guarantee their work, they don’t provide a business address (I’ve now learnt my lesson there), and therefore you have no comeback as Citizens Advice say you need an address to take it to Trading Standards. My advice is to avoid.

The team from KRL did a fantastic cleaning job on myroof in Worsley . I live on a main road with a lot of trees surrounding me so my roof was filthy and covered in moss . The moss was all removed and the tiles pressure washed . It looks like I’ve had a new roof now ! Really pleased .
