Was in there today to purchase a pair of Magnum Viper Waterproof boots. Greeted straight away by a friendly member of staff, although didn't catch his name. Quick chat about the boots to make sure they were what I wanted/needed and then within minutes I was trying my size on. Perfect for, great boots and bought them. Can't fault the shop, staff or service!

Silverman’s is indeed by far the most clean and tidy military surplus stores that I have visited in my entire life and it’s just probably fair to say that this establishment has got an upscale look and feel about it.

Excellent customer service and very friendly, even though I didn't buy anything on this visit as my size was out of stock. I'll be back soon.

Purchased a CWC Auto Diver No Date watch and when the watch arrived... unfortunately it wasn't working. Tried winding the crown many times and even tried shaking it to get the rotor going, but unfortunately it just wasn't ticking.Emailed customer service and explained what was happening. So they sent me a shipping label to ship the defective watch back and exchange it for a new one at no cost. When the watch arrived to them, they told me that the watch was running perfectly fine.....seemed a bit weird knowing that I was turned the crown almost 100 rotation and still wasn't ticking. Either way they understood what happened and exchanged it for another one. The process went smoothly.Now I have a perfectly running CWC Auto Diver. Super pleased with the watch.

Silverman's had been around for decades. It's still the best for military type clothing and the range of MA1 style jackets for a impressive.

I needed a new pair of boots, and Silvermans stock a wide variety of footwear. Not only that, they are one of very few retailers that stock Altberg, which piqued my interest, so I paid them a visit.The shop itself is quite large, and impressive, and as I was browsing a member of staff asked if I needed any help. I explained I wanted to replace the hiking boots I was currently wearing. The sales assistant pointed me towards the range of Magnum work boots on display. I explained that these weren’t really what I was looking for. The assistant shrugged their shoulders and said “That’s all we have”. Oh well, no boots for me then.Some weeks later I decided to pay them another visit, and see if anybody wanted to sell me some boots. There was one member of staff in the shop, and they were on the phone. I spent a few minutes browsing, and nobody offered to help. I left the shop, whilst the one member of staff was still gassing on the phone.I then went and bought a pair of boots from an outdoor store who were very keen to sell me a pair.I won’t rate Silvermans lower than three stars, as I don’t believe everybody who works there can be that reluctant to sell stuff. I may even pop in again one day, and it would be really nice if somebody actually tried to help me buy a pair of boots!
