Tesco Extra

They have the most disgusting toilets I have ever seen! The staff was very much aware of this issue and blamed it on the customers.It's a massive store! To shrug it off is just not good enough. The cleaning schedule must be reviewed.

Farcical and uncomfortable experience today - I bought a couple of bulky items from the homebase section. The homebase bit looks like part of the store and the counter there just says click and collect /customer collection, no pay here notice at all. So I figured you had to pay at the main tills, so I tried to pay at the self serve, which didn't work, so I was sent back round through the one way gates to pay at home base, which I did, but then it seemed impossible to leave - you can only exit through the self scan which was full of queuing people (I was carrying very big bulky items so I couldn't get through, I couldn't go back through the one way gates, so I could only squeeze though where people were being served on the main tills with conveyor belts, only to be shouted at by a cashier that I shouldn't be leaving that way, because of the customers, and I should have left further down (where exactly???!) I said I couldn't see where to leave and she just shouted the same thing back at me. Tesco, you need to let people leave your store easily if they've not bought something in the main shop!! And put some clear signage in Homebase!

Huge store, with pretty much anything you can think of on offer. Car park with two levels and a travelator, escalator and lift to get you to where you want to go. Downside is that queues can be pretty large at peak times. The toilets provided could be cleaned more often. The Isle with coffee/tea has had no lights for the last 2 weeks.

Huge store located upstairs, good wheelchair access 2 lifts or can use escalator. Lots of products not so much in frozen products. Has pharmacy, cafe, clothes. Friendly staff. Can get very busy carpark located on 1st floor

Place is massive, however there is a homeless man that moved into the first floor car park a while back. He generally just sits there, doesn't beg or bother anyone, but today he started yelling at people, swearing at them and making racist comments when they just walked to their cars. The man clearly needs help, but nobody deserves to be treated like that ever, but especially when they haven't done anything wrong.

The tiny Tesco Express franchise in Lakedale Road is open at 6am on a Sunday and closes at 11pm. This MASSIVE Tesco Extra - fully owned by Tesco, not a franchise - opens 11am on a Sunday and shuts at 5pm. Says it all really.

Staff at this store are usually mute. They say nothing at the till, they dont greet you, tell you how much to pay,(when the screen is blank) they shove your shopping down the belt with no care. All together a hostile shopping experience.

Great range of items as a large Tesco, but location wise it's depressing. I shop late in the evening with my partner as its a lot quieter, I avoid during busy hours as it gets so busy

I love shopping at Tesco but it can be very busy at sometimes and not all the tills are open. I like how it is easier for people with card to go to the card only tills but we need more tills open especially when christmas is around the corner , also it would be helpful if the other moving walkway escalators start to be open because it will be easier for customers

Escalators are often not working and filthy. Mens toilets are horrible, car park is also often smelling of urine. The 2nd set of trolley escalators have never been turned on. Given the profits Tesco make they could surely fix these issues. The cafe is decent though, I would admit that.
