I live in Hampshire and wanted something quite specific and of quality. The distance between myself and Steven at Monkseaton Glaziers had no bearing as his communications were always prompt and professional. Delivery went well and I am absolutely delighted with the finished product. I would have no reservation of recommending Steven and his team - top work all round.

Steven has created the most beautiful panel for my inner porch door. He was extremely helpful and explained the process very clearly. His workshop is like an Aladdin’s cave and it was great fun working with him to choose the colours and types of glass. He has done an amazing job and fitted it perfectly. I am absolutely delighted and it is definitely the highlight of my new home. Brilliant to work with such skilled local craftsman.

My solid oak, bespoke door is beautiful, and the workmanship is superb. Despite the large amount of stained glass, it feels very secure and solid (I opted for the security glass option). I'm giving a four rather than five star review because, whilst Steven was always very nice when we did communicate, I did find the level of communication quite frustrating. For example, my door was delayed by about 6-8 weeks longer than the maximum 10 weeks I was told to expect, and I had to chase several times even to find this out. However, ultimately the door was worth the wait and the delivery man was very friendly and professional as well.

There are 2 Stevens in this shop the owner and the other other one. The owner is an air head, the other one is nice. The doors are good. A little humbleness from the owner wouldn’t hurt, regardless of how good you might be on your craft. Something that could have been a nice experience, can get shattered in 2 seconds.Don’t bother come to the store. Everything necessary is on the website… that would be, if you follow the owner’s directions.

I found the Stained Glass Studio online while trying to find a replacement Victorian door, I was impressed with their range of authentic products. I contacted them about my bespoke door and received a positive reply so I sent a drawing, I quickly received a quote which included delivery to Birmingham. The door was made to my exact sizes and was delivered by a timed courier - the quality was everything I had hoped for, beautifully made. I would definitely use them again and recommend their products and services.Thanks Steven and the team.

We recently had a door custom built for our hallway. We are absolutely delighted with it. The service and attention to detail provided by Monkseaton Stained Glass was excellent. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard. When it came to fitting the door great care was taken and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Steven Amin and his team without reservation.

Fantastic service, from beginning to end. Ordered a stained glass door and a four panel pine door - both absolutely quality wood and stained glass. Our joiner thought the doors were first class workmanship, which we agreed. Now they have been waxed, the quality is excellent. Steve's communication, via email, was exemplary and delivery guys were really good and even though delivery was late (which we knew about and agreed), you couldn't fault the delivery guys manners. Many thanks, Steve, for all your help and communication. Brilliant!

Brilliant service. Had been looking for the glass for a Victorian repo door for 15years. Walked into Stevens shop and there it was. Ordered made and fit within a few weeks (lucky as they were waiting for other doors). It is amazing. Can’t thank the guys enough. Fabulous workmanship and everything as described. Price great aswell

Fantastic and beautiful! We received the door a few days before Christmas and got the door in place and it looks fantastic - with all the xmas lights shining through looks even better. It’s made an amazing addition to our newly designed space - having knocked down a wall to open two rooms up. This was our wedding year and this was part of the final present to ourselves and ties in beautiful with a printed silk art work that we got as well. The stained glass is stunning and with changing light shining through, it looks even better - might have to add in some extra lights to add to the contrasts of the rooms.
