My Roomz The New discovery hotel

The owner was such a lovely person made us feel safe , there was a lot of noise from the upstairs ( about 2am) which the owner did sort out :) the stairs was very nosier tho lol , excellent stop for the price! Thank you

It's a budget hotel. Which. Is exactly what I got and expected, the room was clean and furniture a bit battered but as a budget hotel this was as expected and shouldn't the a negative.One massive bonus however is that the host is lovely, so very helpful, thoughtful and understanding.We arrived early check in (my daughter's paddle in the sea" turned into a full on faceplant so a drowned sandy 5 year old while he was trying to get clean and organised could have been less than welcome. He was really understanding though and let us check in early

Absolute shambles of a hotel photos are not accurate at all and a total mis-sell. Without doubt the most dirtiest place I've every stayed at. Dust/dirt/debris everywhere! Stains everywhere mould and collapsing ceiling right over where you supposed to hang your clothes and drawers are filthy. Mould in the shower carpet in room stained burnt and dirty. Divan bed base I've seen better in skips! Even the lock of the room door was all unsecure and barley closed to the point we actuallyleft all our clothes in the suitcase and proped it against the door. Manager on arrival clearly knows the standard as he quickly distanced himself from the hotel by stating I just work here it's not mine! Yes it's cheap but these are worse than hostel standards! We actually booked a double room as a couple but apparently on arrival we got an upgrade (laughable) walked in to the oldest looking divan bed you've ever seen and a massive unmade bunk bed which blocked the window and tv? Honestly don't believe there website pictures I have at least 20+ genuine pictures you can view on request to back up and show this horror experience.

Stayed over bank hoilday weekend and got what I expected somewhere for me to sleep as I don’t spend much time in the room anyways with having kids seen some off the bad reviews and there far from it yes it’s a old hotel like most in Blackpool but it’s a nice stay with a very friendly host made you feel welcome and everything you need is out and ready downstairs if you need more don’t have to ask or wait just help yourself would use again thanks

We stayed on last sat 1st october 2022 i want to thank the owner for looking after my nan and making sure she was ok, bedrooms are lovely only thing was bedding smelt abit damp but apart from that everything was great .

Room for 3 booked, given room for 4 (double bed &bunks) as requested low floor-ensuite shower and loo, central heating was perfect, clean and tidy, very basic but all we needed. Close to the promenade, chippy in walking distance, corner shop, and pub. Near the south pier, so fab to get to illuminations etc, TV room with pool table, and teacoffee and hot choc, and parked right outside.Peter the manager was hilarious, and couldn't help more. Very happy stay for us, Mum and 2 kids, going to Friends Fest!!!!! Would absolutely stay again.

This hotel is just horrible. It is really grubby and the room smelled really bad and the sheets had not been washed for a long time. The toilet didn’t flush and I genuinely don’t think the place had been cleaned. Honestly please avoid this hotel the street it’s on is horrible and the place is horrible. We didn’t stay we paid to go somewhere else as they wouldn’t refund us even though we didn’t stay in the room so it was an expensive night. Be warned. It really is that bad!

Highly recommend this place! Peter the manager accommodated us last minute and went above & beyond at every opportunity. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. WiFi, fresh towels, toiletries, tea & coffee etc all included. The location is fantastic and we can’t wait to come back. Perfect for families. Thank you Peter!

Me and my partner stayed here last night. We were on a budget so chose this hotel based on the price and the location too. It's situated between the south and central pier and a 10 minute walk to the Tower. Peter was absolutely lovely. Really really welcoming and shown us around, shown us where extra towels and tea, coffee etc was. Even let us check in an hour early and shown us a bigger room for when we return with the children. He was also very informative about what was nearby and good places to eat, and a local shop that's open till midnight. On top of the early check in, we also got late check out free of charge. Peter couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if he tried. The room was simple but absolutely everything we needed. You don't go to Blackpool to sit in your room anyway, but it did us perfectly to rest and revive ready for the next day. Thanks again Peter, we will return. Toni & Corey

Good location friendly host slept well quiet and warm o paid 20 quid for a night so didn't expect much did the job for a night.. probably would stay again
