Miserable pharmacy staff who seem to take pleasure in not having prescriptions ready.

The pharmacist was amazing, asked me questions on new medication and said someone will call after a week to make sure I am ok. Wonderful service.

Katey was really helpful and professional and patient. The store is clean and easy to get around with a pushchair however think the tills could be better placed. Not only for customers but for staffs benefit too

This Boots the chemist reminds me a little bit of yesteryear. It could do with an update, cosmetically, especially as it is also a cosmetics shop. There is also the lingering, enduring issue of pharmacy staff taking rather longer than necessary with some customers which creates enormous queues for those simply dropping off or collecting or purchasing medication who should not have to wait While a pharmacist or dispenser is conducting a protracted and unnecessarily drawn out consultation. These cases should be taken aside and given the attention they need while other customers can be served so that it can serve as a shop and dispensary effectively!!

Great staff especially in the pharmacy department they are very kind and supportive…… The store always have what I’m looking for and the ladies at the check out’s always very happy and love my assistance dog Tilly keep up the good work every one x

How one member of staff at Boots Newmarket can take away the well mannered staff that are usually there! I go to Boots pharmacy every Tuesday to pick up controlled tablets that I use. I am disabled and a pensioner, so always check prior to leaving home. I did so this morning 2nd May 2023. My tablets were not there, it is now 2.25 pm, my Doctors surgery has signed off on them, but I am still waiting for a call. Its costs me £5.20 each way as I have a foot full of metal and use a stick. The usual pharmacy staff were not there today and the pharmacy assistant, 1. said when I rang this morning, 'you need to be patient it was a bank holiday the doctors were off for 2 days LOVE'.!!!!! Hello I know that but she dismissed me. I went into the store to ask if there had been any movement, around midday, the same assistant were abrupt, rude and dismissive and the answer was NO! I am leaving my name so I am going to use hers its Natalie. The normal staff there are lovely, accommodating, helpful have even brought my medications to me. What an absolute shame that one individual can take away all the credit that such a devoted staff at Boots in Newmarket normally display, even when there are run off their feet and have staff shortages. Shame!

Saturday 11th March @ 9:20 in Boots Newmarket was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Such a contrast to one week earlier where a very pleasant young girl on the till was having to deal with a huge queue as the other person on the second till had not shown. She remained calm and courteous and apologised to everyone in the long queue which kept the customers quite happy.However, a week later the rudest more mature woman could not have been more unpleasant. Upon entering the store I noticed special offer items right in front of the tills and one of which I was looking to purchase. There were no prices so I spoke to the woman standing to the side of the till as there were no other customers and asked the question. She checked the item reluctantly and gave me the full price which I politely questioned as it was supposed to be on offer. When asking what the offer price was, she said she wasn’t a mind reader! I asked if she could find out for me and she complained she would have to walk right down to the pharmacy to check so I told her not to worry about it. She ignored me tutting and marched down to find the item which wasn’t actually reduced which caused her further irritation. I told her I would leave it because I couldn’t believe her behaviour and walked out. I shall not be using the Newmarket branch again!

Staff member at the till was sorting vouchers. Just scanned my item whilst carrying on her task. Seemed extremely rude and definitely not the customer service I'd expected
