Nice and spacious village green in the picturesque village of Thornton Hough. Kids playground and thatched pavilion nearby. Perfect place for a photo with period timber framed houses as a background.

Thornton Hough Village Green
Thornton Hough is always a beautiful spot, regardless of the time of year, but particular so in the springtime with the trees in blossom. I wouldn't say the place is packed with tourist attractions, but with the village green, the pub and plenty of good footpaths, what more do you really need?

Thornton Hough Village Green
It is a large green with a small children's play area and it is bounded with pleasant mock Tudor buildings and the building of the now closed smithy. All part of the Lever Estate until the death of the last Lord Leverhulme.

Beautiful green and play park in a picturesque village, comedy amount of litter bins but also no sign of any litter whatsoever. There are toilets here but locked when we visited.

Really nice place. Super quiet and a nice play area for kids. Shame about the dog poo around the bin from lazy dog owners
