Integrated Community Equipment Service

Today i have travelled 120 miles to my mums empty house which i was expecting these people to pick up some equipment mum had been using.Now shes living in a care home and not needing the said equipment arrangements were made to return the equipment at between 2-3pm.So after two phone calls of poor excuses no one turned up At 4.30 pm i phoned asking where they were and it was closed.The equipment had to be left at the doorway as i cant keep taking holiday days off work .Today was cold and stressfull waiting a full two and a half hours and then no show after thr journey there and back of four and half hours as a wasted day. I am very disscruntled to say the least If i can make 240 miles trip.get there before time,why cant they make the appointment on time given the 2-3pm flexability of 1 hour,and not show even till 4.30.pm.Dissgracefull i would say.

Great place only problem is they do not give a time for delivery therefore if you are in hospital you can't go home as people who could help require a time maybe they should have 2/3 HR slots. Also they are not open on a Saturday morning so you can arrange for pick up.Oh well another few days struck in hospital whilst try to get things sorted.

Rang for a number to return a hospital bed for an elderly neighbour The number they gave me just says the number is not available It took me 13 different calls to eventually sort this out
