Went for lunch, ordered food and one came incorrect, they did rectify it. Food was lovely. Portions were big. Really lovely restaurant.

Rather disappointing. We were in for a total of 3.5 hours on Sunday and had main and desserts. It took far too long and what felt like a relaxed atmosphere, soon turned into us being impatient wanting to be served. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff but unfortunately the other members of staff just didn't seem to give a monkeys about anything. We were waiting on service for lengthy periods of time yet could see staff on their phones behind the bar. The fish and chips were bang average also. Disappointed as we went to Papa's in Scarborough and that take away was brilliant!

Surprisingly nice fish, sausage and chips not the best I've had I found them both quite bland. Pattie decent.For the price you can't go wrong for a sit down chippy tea if you want to feel a bit fancy

The food as ever was excellent, the large haddock And Chips with curry sauce was perfect, my wife braved the 2 battered Mars bars with ice cream for dessert but advises sharing it with another, far too much of a sugar rush for just one person.....

Not used this place for a very long time but be certainly using it more often its so well organised even for a takeaway. We opted for the £5:99 combo & its so good value for the 2 of us, the chips where perfect & was a lovely piece of fish. We got fish & chips with a pattie & a decent size pot of mushy peas. The girl who was serving was very helpful & polite.

Nice venue, Friendly staff, Fish was smaller than expected even though I ordered a large however, the batter was thin and crispy.The tartare sauce tasted more like mayonnaise, the curry sauce was nice and spicy.Overall would recommend!

Papa's Fish & Chips
First time visiting, but we will always make a detour when in the area. Everywhere was nice and clean, and the service from Annie was bang on. The fish,chips, and mushy peas were faultless and a good size for medium ( Haddock). Also, it was nice for my partner to have a small Haddock as so many places don't seem to do it.
