Brought my family here for my son's 18th meal and it was a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious, well worth the money! First time visiting and it definitely won't be the last!

Very nice evening meal. Gammon and eggs were excellent. We also had a sirloin steak, well done; that was just as my wife likes it, well done.We would also recommend the caramel crumble apple pie with custard, very niceThe sevice was excellent.Remember you order at the bar

We had a lovely time. A young girl named Niamh was wonderful. Very attentive, always smiling and very polite. I hope she does well. But we did notice the managers constantly walking out side to smoke and chat leaving Niamh to do most of the work. But she was a trooper and gave us the best possible service

Had booked a table in advance, but it was not ready when we got there. Ordering food was easy and the bar lady was very helpful. Food did take quite a while to come but when it did was very tasty. Desserts was delicious too. Friendly helpful staff.

Another local pub I hadn't checked out in ages. What a change, and all for the better.Lovely decor, and just as importantly, a good range of beers on draft. Some very tempting food on offer - think I'll be paying a return visit soon.

I was greeted by a polite and friendly member of staff behind the bar, who took our drinks order. we were asked if we required anything else before being told the final cost of the order. once payment was made we were thanked for our order, before finding a place to sit.A very satisfying experience.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 course Sunday lunch here, in the bar area, because we had a dog with us. The Yorkshire puds and roast spuds were the best we have had for ages. Great value for the price!

Food was good. Drinks a little expensive.The last time we ate here the waitress couldnt be bothered to find any english mustard for my steak. However on this occasion the gentleman serving us went out of his away to help and find some from the kitchen.

An Ember Inn, so a known standard of pub chain food. Ample parking. Usually have two or three ales available. Bar service is painfully slow. Live music brings in a good crowd, but they don't seem to staff the bar accordingly, although they are friendly enough

Pub was reasonably nice, menu quite broad and the prices remain ok.Not so impressed by car parking parasites infesting the premises, nor the wall paper falling from the ceiling in one location of the dining room or the shrinkflation of the portion sizes. The one waitress I talked to was nice and very human.I understand the need to make a profit etc. but these parking restrictions make the place feel far less welcoming and put me in a naff mood for the rest of the meal. You just can't escape people trying to get their pound of flesh. So I'll probably not return for a while and go back to the pub down the road.Btw, I had a burger for the first time in a while and it was quite nice and the Sunday dinners didn't look bad. Take away the Yorkshire pud and the offering looked a tad miserly.
