Vision Express Opticians at Tesco - Chesterfield

Brilliant caring service from start to finish. Called in on the off chance of being seen due to an issue with my eye. The gentleman who answered was very helpful and told me to make my way over. He completed some information with me and I was sat no more than five minutes before I was called in. They took photos of my eye and then I was seen by Craig Farquhar, who looked at my eye under a microscope, using different methods to check everything. Craig then gave me some great advice and recommendations to help with the issue. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel so relaxed at all times. He advised I take a full eye test when the issue has been resolved. Due to the fantastic service I will use Visions Express for all future eye care services. Thank you Craig and team (who where also really friendly and helpful) for everything.

Staff were great, got me booked in early due to some issues I had with my eye.I don’t think the optician really believed I had issues as despite diluting my eye, nothing could be found, new prescription provided but nothing to indicate why i had such blurred vision.Also calling this store is a nightmare.Decided on a second opinion, new optician noticed immediately the issue and now referred me to the eye hospital.I Just think when it comes to sight, the optician should have considered what I was saying beyond just assuming it was “floaters”.

I was accidentally scratched in the eye by my dog. This site in Chesterfield (Tescos) fitted me in first thing the next morning, saw me for free and gave me a private prescription for some drops just in case I got an infection, as it was ten days before my surgery.The check up was thorough and timely. I would highly recommend.Prescription collected from my doctors chemist and back home in an hour! Yay

Started off a little nervous as never done an eye test apart from when I was a child. The team made me feel quite comfortable and I felt more at ease as we went through the process.Found out I’m slightly short sighted and the team helped me pick frames that suit me and I felt a bit anxious trying the glasses on however that soon went with the help/guidance from the staff.I collected my glasses and can now read very clearly at a distance. The result is even better than I imagined so I can’t thank the staff enough for their help. The pricing was very fair and nowhere near what I was expecting so I’d recommend to everyone I know who’s in similar situations.

I had an eye test and needed new glasses. I’d never been to this branch of Vision Express before. The ladies there that did the tests and those in the shop front were lovely and very helpful. They all helped me choose frames to suit my face and Angela in particular was incredibly helpful. I will definitely be going back for future appointments!

Staff very friendly and helpful and my consultant, Claire, was, as always, expert and concerned to give the best possible solution to my sight issues.

Everything was carried out very professional and little to no waiting ..Only neg I have is not being provided with any paperwork/test results of my MECS service

Absoloutley brilliant polite and kind staff. Really helpful and a lovely optometrist who was pleasant and chatty. Fantastic staff.

Amazing service, they went over and above to get me an eye test and emergency pair of glasses when I lost them on holiday - not sure what I would have done without them! Very friendly and helpful, plus they assisted me with getting something in my budget. Would definitely recommend and very grateful!
