I bought a Honda Civic from John at the weekend. The car was a little bit over budget but he did some maths whilst I had a test drive and we struck a deal. He is a genuine, down to earth bloke with, what is absolutely unheard of in car salesmen...morals!! He really did look after me. He offered to come and pick us up if we ran out of petrol (it was running low after the test drive) and said if we ran out to ring him and he will go to the petrol station and fill up a Jerry cab for me. He wasn’t pushy at all, he was honest and open throughout and this is what made me decide to buy the car.Moving onto the car - it is a 2003 Honda Civic, it was well looked after and had almost a full service history. It was definitely something I was looking for, and he let me try the buggy in the boot for size and the car seat for my 8 month old son. He has given me a 30 day warranty on all major faults like engine, gearbox etc which really did give me the confidence to buy from him.I looked at John’s reviews beforehand and they are impeccable. I have never seen someone with almost 30 5* reviews and not a single one with any less. Others I looked at may have been cheaper at the time but the reviews and mixed and has a lot 1* / 2* reviews from people they have ripped off. John has none of these which really did hit home as to how trustworthy and genuine he is.I will 100% come back to John again when I am due an upgrade!

Would highly recommend. Sourced my car and sorted my finance, the car had 12 months mot and full history I was very pleased with the options I was given. They sat down with me and went over the whole process. It was very easy. Thanks. I’ll be back in a few years.

Lovely seller, until I called after I had purchased the car to query a couple of minor defects, all things that as a buyer I should have noticed at the time, and not massive issues, however after I had spoken to John regarding this, he blocked me, and my husband, and a friend, after me having called him on their phones! These small problems have been resolved at our cost, and that’s fair enough as I didn’t notice them prior to buying. The car we bought was a great little car with no big issues, but my problem lies with the blocking of our numbers. I would be very wary of buying from this seller, as if there had been a major problem with the car, I am almost certain that we would’ve had to go through trading standards and small claims to get our money back. It will be interesting to see his reaction to this review, as he seems to have retaliated quite aggressively to any previous negative reviews. Not very professional!Re the owners response, as I predicted, this is a variation on the actual truth, but I’ll leave that to his conscience and let potential buyers draw their own conclusions!

Well, I was struggling for a car. I got to the point where my old car was ready for an mot but it wouldnid1878 t have gone through and because of the IA struggle to keep on top of trying save, but the only way forward was to get car on finance John Dean Ortiz managed to sort me out with a decent car that I knows. Hey for the myself and my family. I thought the older experiences very friendly. Write down from sorting out the finance and getting me the car. I will dial a recommend and tell anybody is struggling to get a decent car. And doesn't have the savings there to get it straight I think of the elephant I can say is. Thank you very much, John, for your help. I'm thank you for a great car.

I would thoroughly recommend buying from Dean Auto Sales, lovely selection of well priced cars and incredible service. Had a minor issue with the car I purchased which was sorted out immediately with no quibbling, I will certainly be making Dean's my first port of call when I am ready for my next car.Well I can't figure out how to leave another review so I am editing this one. I have just bought my second car from John and again he was a pleasure to purchase from and I am really pleased with the car and the service.

Purchased a car through dean auto finance. I was told it would be fully checked over by vosa trained mechanics. However, they missed the blowing exhaust, the front discs and pads that were grinding. I repaired myself as I know it's been done correctly. Car was sold with vauxhall service, however the last service was over 70k miles. Zero paperwork provided. They source cheap cars off eBay and then resellFollow up. Had a WhatsApp message from John today saying I had invalidated my warranty by doing the repairs myself and the finance company won't support me. Also threatened to take my review down as it's lies and I had left bad reviews for other companies. At no point did he say sorry to hear about the problems I had suffered or what could he do to help. It was all about him and the reputation of the company. Not great customer service there John.In response to the business reply. Car was purchased late march (25th) and collected 1st April. Car wasn't what I asked for as you said you would source one as you wouldn't buy the one I sent you via WhatsApp. I tried to cancel once I had seen you purchased it from another garage at over £800 cheaper than you were selling it to me and you refused because you had paid a deposit. These issues are not wear and tear, they should have been picked up by your VOSA trained technicians you said were checking my car. Please don't call me a liar when I'm telling the truth. Just accept once in a while you don't get things right and you sold a melon
