Ingrid did an incredible job with our wedding photos, she was extremely professional whilst having a good laugh with us (the bride & groom) as well as our wedding guests at the same time, making us all feel relaxed in our pictures being taken. Upon looking at our proofs we've just received from her she has done outstandingly, she's captioned the natural, raw emotion that a wedding brings out in people and that's the kind of photographs we was looking for, of course you have you statuary posed images which look just as good, but the hidden ones where Ingrid went undercover and you never new was there, they are the golden ones, and there was a lot of them. She kept us reassured throughout the whole process from the initial booking request to the big day itself, her work is amazing and I would recommend anyone to have Ingrid shoot their wedding photography on their special day! Ingrid captured our wedding day beautifully. We really wanted a photographer who would capture our day naturally, with limited 'posing' and Ingrid did this and I cannot believe the shots she's got with barely noticing her there! She made us feel completely at ease for 2 people who aren't completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera, asking us to just walk and talk and giving direction when needed. There are no words to ever express our gratitude towards Ingrid for capturing the most beautiful photographs on our wedding day but I’m going to try! I have waited a couple of weeks since receiving our photographs (which we received just 3 weeks after our wedding!!!!) to sit down and write this review because I have just been obsessed by them! I’ve looked at them every single day, I can’t stop thinking about them, every time I look at them I’m taken right back to that moment and I hope that the feeling of that lasts forever. If you’re looking for someone to capture the candid, raw, real life emotions of your day discretely look no further.When I first looked at wedding photographers back in 2019 I hated how regimented some of the photographs were and I knew how uncomfortable that would make us feel, when I saw Ingrids work in 2020 she was just everything I imagined and more. I watched her page religiously for the months and when we booked her that didn’t change, I followed every wedding she attended - saving her photos to my “inspo” album! So when our day came I could show her the kind of images that we adored.Throughout our day she was barely even noticeable, I remember at one point during the ceremony seeing her hidden behind a chair and just being in absolute awe of her ability to be so brilliant. There are photographs where she’s stood behind me and I didn’t even know! The photos we will treasure forever, the memories captured in them for the rest of our lives and all that is possible because of Ingrid. She is more than a photographer, she tells a story and she does it perfectly. She is phenomenal! We recently had a pre-wedding photoshoot done with Ingrid! And oh my god! She managed to capture beautiful pictures that when we look at them we get transported to that magical moment in time. What can I say about Ingrid? From our first meeting with her at the Cedar Court to discuss our wedding, to the pre-wedding photography shoot at Holmfirth on our would have been wedding day that was cancelled because of Covid, and finally following our wedding, she was just fantastic. She puts so much enthusiasm into her work, all of our guests loved her! We love each and every photo she has taken and will cherish our wedding photos for the rest of our lives.
