I would literally give a 0 rating if it was possible, because that is how much help I got from staff today in Southampton branch.I came to the counter and asked for a speciffic product that I was READY TO PURCHASE!FLIR ONE PRO thermal imaging camera comes in 3 options: 1. For Iphone. 2 Android with micro USB. 3. Android for USB - C.In the product descriptions they had, there were no distinctions, so I asked if he could tell me which one is the micro USB version because thats what I needed.Not only did he not know, but he also couldnt be bothered to find out??? He suggested that he could give me the manufacturers part numbers of these models and I should call them and find out myself??? What kind of a customer service is this?Will take my company business elsewhere...

Spoke to Neil about helping us with some conduit which we really needed quick. He could not be more helpful and we found a solution that really helped us deliver a boat to a customer on time! Legend!!

I have been using RS Components for many years and have always used the Local outlet at Southampton. Howard in particular has proved a very reliable contact, available on a 24hr basis and has made many visits to my company in Andover and Fort William. With his technical background and product understanding he has provided expertise that cannot be matched by your competitors. Howard is a big asset to RS which should not be underestimated.

I use RS Hedge End daily. If they dont have it in stock, you can get it next day. Brilliant service. And talking about service, the 3 guys, Howard, Tristan, and Garry are just a pleasure to speak to. Nothing is too testing for them and they are very helpful. Their knowledge is also fantastic. Howard is just the ideal counter expert, and always has time to help. Tristan is a wealth of knowledge, and Garry just knows exactly the part you need. Well done boys. Especially Howard.

Took in an European power supply and very helpful member of staff patiently worked out for me their equivalent, and when it arrived the next day it was exactly what I needed. Well done RS components

Delivery dates are never correct and items on back order take 3+months when at time of order it said 3weeks. Wouldn't trust to use again.

I use them on a weekly basis and have never had an issue. Quick checkouts and next day delivery always on time. Always have what you need in stock so highly recommended.

You pay the price for the availability of some of the more obscure electronic items in the industry. But service is fantastic, not only from web orders but by the people behind the counter at this branch. I had two very helpful staff offer there advice/opinions when asked.

I can't fault their product range but the ordering prpcedure is a pain especially if you're a forgetful occasional user.They need a password AND a username (why?) is a pain.I made a policy decision recently to use Amazon as little as possible but on this occasion, they will deliver a day earllier than RS, the login is easier..... and they're cheaper. No brainer.

Have to agree with Aaron. went in today and was greeted by a apathetic member of staff. Essentially very reluctant to help, kept suggesting to go and order the part online and half way through my order walked out the back and came out munching a biscuit! 25 minutes later from lethargy, part ordered. Give them 3 out of 5 since they seemed to have a good selection of tools as you enter the shopfront. (just try not to ask the staff questions!)Edit: went back the next day for the part that i ordered and was served by Gary. Very helpful chap. Made going to RS a different experience hence now 4 stars.My tip, ask for Gary!
