This place really is the place to go if you want to pass. Did my CBT, Mod 1 and Mod 2 with Shires and thoroughly enjoyed it. They are just as keen as any one to get you passed and avoid further training and they really know this game. The equipment is excellent but it is the staff that are the real game changer. Exceptional knowledge and guidance, stern when required but absolute great fun and company at all times. Ash and Colin were so confidence inspiring and knew exactly how to get you to pass those tests first time. Can't recommend enough.

I was this school for 3 times the instructor didn’t teach properly , I rode a motorbike with the instructors for 6 hours with all the mistakes but they didn't warn me about anything, and charge mot then the other school ، Nothing matters to them except money٫ horrible school and instructors, never recommend it, I changed this horrible school went to the other school with 2 hours lessons none any fault I passed my mod 2 test with reasonable amount, I was good rider but when I went to shires school I forgot everything because about the inexperience instructors ‘ lesson guys don’t do my mistakes don’t waste money get better school teachers

Had my cbt today at Nottingham and If I remember right it was Andy and paul... highly recommend simply because of these 2 blokes...really made you feel confident and comfortable and for that reason I came back with my certificate... thanks to both of them credit to the company

All the instructors that I had for my lessons were top notch!100% know their art and I highly recommend Shires as a riding school if you want to get yourself on 2 wheels!Thank you all.Luke.

What an amazing experience. Collin is top class and they know how to make you feel welcome & comfortable, so friendly. The banter & dad jokes from Collin were hilarious. I’ve been to 3 different training schools and shires are BY FAR the best, couldn’t recommend them enough. Again thanks for everything guys

Cannot reccomend shires enough to anyone thinking of doing any part of their bike licence from start to finish they have been more than helpful with every aspect of the thorough training they offer and getting you ready for your test. The whole team from the office staff you book everything with to the instructors and boss handle everything extremely professionally yet still super friendly making the entire experience less stressful and really enjoyable. Thanks again to everyone at shires for their outstanding training and getting me passed

I would just like to say a massive thank you for all the help support and advice, l received from Colin and Ashley. Getting me through my Mod 1and 2,If you listen to these guys you will definitely pass your bike test, They are great fun, very friendly, but they also know there stuff, they are very passionate and professional when it comes down to bike trainingI have no hesitation in recommending Shires Motorcycle Training Derby/Notts to anyone,I would also like to thank the guys behind the scenes who take the bookings as this makes the process easier, and they are very helpful,If you are looking to complete your bike test, then my advice would be to go with Shires motorcycle training,Once again guys thank you, Just fantastic

The best riding school by far, after reading all the reviews and having no riding experience at all I signed up with shires and honestly everyone there is amazing, they make you feel so comfortable and will explain everything until you understand and are feeling confident, started with no experience at all at the start of September and mid October I've completed my modular 1 and going for modular 2 soon. Trust me anyone wanting to go for their motorcycle licence give Shires a call and I promise you won't be dissappointed. Good Luck
