Angels Day Nursery

I have tried to put my 17 month old son in a different nursery about 3 month ago. It was a bit disappointing so I thought about giving up. Then I decided to give it another go with Angels because I heard very good feedback. Thank God I did. He has been going to Angels for 2 months now and he loves it. Those girls are AMAZING. It is quite far from where I live, 7 miles, and I don't drive, I am going by taxi. And I would go not 7, but 14, just to get him there. With all the extraordinary activities they do I wish I could go to nursery. Absolutely in love with this nursery. I cannot thank them enough!!!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the last three years having started at five months old, and is now almost 3.5 years old. We have seen her grow and develop into a wonderful young girl developing both educationally and emotionally with the support and leadership from the wonderful staff and management. Needless to say we have always been very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and their dedication to creating a friendly environment that encourages my daughter to become more independent supporting us through key development stages including potty training to help her to achieve her goals. We are delighted with her social and emotional development demonstrated by the friendships she has with the other children at the nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to parents, and we will be sending our new daughter here once I return to work after my maternity leave ends. It goes without saying that the nursery deserves its outstanding rating from OFSTED not just because of the care they have given my daughter but because they make every effort to ensure that as a parent I and my husband have felt fully engaged in her development, we have always felt confident that she is having lots of fun while learning, and really enjoys every day there!

Cannot thank Angels enough!! My daughter started at angels at 10 months old.. as a first time parent I was apprehensive with sending my baby into childcare from a young age. Angels have been amazing from day one! From her settle session right up until now in pre school,she absolutely loves nursery. I always get updated on what activities she's been doing and always get work sent home to show family and friends. The staff are so friendly and welcoming.. so glad I chose Angels couldn't think of anywhere better for my child. Definitely recommend!

We looked at other Nurseries within the area but we fully understood after one visit why this was awarded the outstanding OFSTED report that it holds! We couldn't wait to get our daughter in (even though at the time they did not have all the days required) as we were so overwhelmed by the amount of love and care within this nursery!My daughter has been here for 18 months now and throughout this time here the staff have been amazing and we have seen a massive change in our LO! They work closely with all the children to support and encourage them to learn more through play time as well as following the government EYFS scheme which is great to see how well your child is developing. They hold a parents evening every 6 months which you are able to go through your child's folder at the work they have done as well as hear some wonderful stories about the interaction with the other children and how they get on day by day!The food they are given throughout the day is cooked on site by the members of staff and is all healthy food that I would give my LO at home. The hygiene of the nursery when viewed was faultless and if ever there has been a virus go round the nursery, there is always a deep clean carried out to try and prevent other children catching the nasty bugs!In regards to payment & Fees, they have been brilliant giving us an invoice at the start of every month clearly stating how much is due to the nursery and when we have had our money troubles, as any family has probably experienced, they have been very helpful and understanding!Would recommend this to anyone who is looking at putting their child into a day nursery! We are extremely happy with the service....both on a personal level as well as professional!!!

So happy with the nursery. I have loved having my eldest here and now that my little princess has joined I feel this is the perfect place. She has moved rooms recently, the girls were amazing in helping her transition, the biggest achievement was not only the fact that they have helped with her walking but also nappy changing.The nursery is clean, bright and all the teachers are very kind and loving, its an atmosphere we really wanted.Both myself and Dad are teachers we love the way they develop our children and help in the learning. Kids love coming to nursery, always smiling and happy when they go in and lots to tell us on way home.We love the outdoor play area and very impressed that they took parents comments on boards when designing the new garden! I would recommend the nursery.

My Son has been attending Angels Day Nursery since late 2014. It is a wonderful nursery with a really welcoming atmosphere. Since he has been attending Angels nursery I have never had to worry about him not wanting to go, which is a huge relief. Indeed, he almost always woops ‘yey’ as we pull up to nursery and he sees his little friends going in.My son has a slight speech delay, which was identified by the staff as requiring additional support. Staff spoke through with me the procedure and the support that he would receive and he has now been referred to a speech therapist, who will hopefully attend some nursery sessions in the next few months. Although this could have been a hard topic to broach, staff at Angels handled it in a sensitive way and have never singled him out or made him feel inadequate in any way. They are always very positive and ensure that he is filled with confidence about his abilities.My son has come home from nursery with some of the most lovely artwork and also some lovely, unusual cards and gifts for us on special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. One thing I have noticed about Angels nursery is that all religious celebration are accommodated and there is diversity amongst both staff and children alike, which I think is lovely and a very positive example for my son.I am really happy with the care my son is receiving at Angels and am confident that he will only thrive further whilst attending nursery,

We waited 2 weeks for a look around for our daughter to attend on Mondays and Tuesdays. On the day we were about to come down we were told these days have been taken. Lack of communication and thought to parents booked in. Now can someone say only available to look around if x days but then places take, withought thought to parents booked in. Shows lack of management and understanding. Glad it shows their true colours, definitely not a suitable fit for our daughter.

My daughter started here when she was 6 months and is currently in the pre school. My second child was at a different nursery as she was on the waiting list at Angels. I feel I can write a review because I have experienced a large nursery and Angels.My eldest attends a local school and started reception this year after leaving Angels and she is doing so well and this is because of the love and care from the staff at Angels.The parents are friendly the staff are lovely and we have always loved it there. My daughter in preschool has really progressed and her confidence has grown every day.As a mother things that matter to me are hygiene and they score 100% you will always see people cleaning and the nursery looks fresh every time. My children are fussy when it comes to food but they never have a problem eating at nursery and I am told at home “it’s not like nursery food” ! Education is also very important and I love they mix it up and make learning fun my daughter is reading and the main thing is she enjoys reading, the nursery have helped us, we have borrowed books and taken tips and advice from them and I couldn’t recommend them more.I’m happy my children all have attended Angels and highly recommend them.

Our daughter started full time at Angels in September. We have been really pleased with how much she has thrived since being here.Her key worker Miss Lawrence has been really supportive throughout, as have the other teachers. All the staff are really caring and encouraging. Our daughter has come such a long way with potty training thanks to the staff efforts. The teaching methods are are very effective. Management is always very informative and helpful.The nursery itself is clean, secure and safe, which is not something you will everywhere . Our little one loves going in every day. We are very pleased and I would definitely recommend Angels

My son went here for a year, the nursery staff where fine! But can be rude at times! Over a matter of 4 months the nursery admitted to mistakenly undercharging us by £1026 and demanded the money up front or a payment plan which suited them, I offered them £40 on top of my sons months fees which was refused and I was told if i couldn't agree to one of there options my son would be kicked out.. I was so angry and upset as my son had been to this nursery for a long time and I was being blackmailed to pay for there mistake! I couldn't afford anymore so they have kicked my 2 year old out of angels and they refused me a copy of there policy and procedures and also refused me his learning journey and all of his work out of spite as I wouldn't agree to want they wanted! This nursery is about money not the children in my opinion! Please be careful parents.. There are a lot better and professional run nurseries in the area in my opinion! I have since learnt lots of parents and staff have left this nursery because of issues!
