The number 42 bus service is appalling. This takes students to college and so needs to be a reliable service as there is no other way of getting there. The 9am bus regularly doesn't turn up and when you call the office you are told that there's a shortage of drivers. Employ more then! I'm tired of having to leave work on a regular basis to rescue my daughters and get them to college. We pay good money for a lacklustre service from Compass.

The bus is always late and the busses are all outdated at the seats are rock hard and uncomfortable. It is a school bus and we are rarely on time to school making us late. Most of the bus drivers are grumpy and not pleasant to be around however there are 2 or 3 nice ones. If there is an alternative bus route then I would pick it.

Ive been getting these buses of several months and they are consistently late, broken buses. If there are any other options take them if you want to arrive on time. Its cost me about virtually £10 every day this year in lost wages.

Excellent end to end service by Gary for our recent trip to Telford. Both drivers were friendly & accommodating as well as competitive price. Will be booking again!

They don't care. As in, no one that works for this company has any feeling for another human being. I'd rather the service be run by Jeffrey Dahmer.

Why is it that the 125 bus is the only bus that is always late but none of the other buses are late, it should be at lewes bus stop 8:49 but always seems to be parked by monkey business in lewes every time. And always 10 minutes late.

So pleased that this company is giving good service,nice clean buses . As a retired bus company auditor 47 years in the industry I feel that more could be done by the drivers to make customers ( for that is what we are ) feel welcome - if only a smile Bernard Jefford

not always bad, but often late and sometimes impolite service. no indication of a route having been changed which left me waiting for a bus that never came, despite being on the electric arrivals board

There were national rail strikes my first day in London and found myself using the bus to get to Guildford. The bus driver was so kind helping me with the route. In my sleep-deprived state I left my purse containing cash and my passport on the bus. I messaged Compass, not expecting anything to come from it, but Ananda messaged me the following day saying the purse has been found and walked me through the process of retrieving it. I was so impressed by her clear instructions and speedy communication. I was able to pick up everything after the weekend with all my cash and documentation. Thanks to the passengers, driver, and Compass for allowing this to be a fun travel story instead of an emergency.

Busses always late. Half hour waiting in the rain. Either they run massively behind or their timetables are wrong. Either way a consistently poor service that’s let us down multiple times. Given up now.
