Never been to Newcastle before and only seen it briefly as we only went to the port, but sailing out I was very impressed by the scenery.

Great experience. Catered well for disabled travellers. Ihad pre paid for evening meal at €20 but after a long wait to be seated (7.45 local ship time a 2.45 mins wait) i was unwell not due to sea sickness and unable to eat and wasnt able to get a refund.

Newcastle is great for shopping, eating out and meeting friends.. North Shields is lovely for a nice walk or lunch on the fish quay, even a visit to the Priory
