I'm mixed in saying this, we had lovely food and one amazing server!!! I get it's not easy running a pub. I myself would take every opportunity to teach how to be efficient in basic service. I really got lucky with the lovely young lady and the chef who catered to my dietary needs.I'll definitely come back because of you two.

One of the greatest meals I’ve ever had! My partner and I were visiting Wales for the day and decided to visited the Globe for a meal. And we both came out having had one of the best culinary experiences of our lives.For starters, I had the Prawns, while my fiancé chose the Mozzarella Stick, both of which were incredibly fresh, and were loaded with flavor. The Mozzarella was so fresh, it had a long pull when you tore it apart. Where as the Prawns were crispy and juicy, with every bite being a delight.For the mains, I had the Loaded Sizzler Chicken Burger special, which was seasoned to perfection, excellently presented, and well portioned. You could tell the chicken was well marinated with the Cajun spices, which complemented the juiciness of the meat. My partner opted for Gammon special, topped with barbecue sauce, pineapple and cheese with a side of chips. Her Gammon was beautifully tender and tangy, with the saltiness of the meat, mixing incredibly with the Barbecue sauce and Pineapple topping. The cheese was the crème de la crème of the meal. Most dishes when you add cheese can be overbearing, but this dish perfectly benefited from the added cheese.Shoutout to Chef Dewi Howells and his team for their incredible work and the wonderful bar staff for being attentive and welcoming myself and my fiancé for one of the best dining experiences ever!

The Sunday roast was absolutely amazing the meat was cooked perfect and had plenty of it our plates were full so much flavour and great value the deserts were lovely also..all the staff there are fab really welcoming nothing is to much trouble nice quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely pub, Stella was to die for. Had scampi and chips with gravy corn sauce. Props to the chef never heard of gravy corn before but it’s a game changer. Would highly recommend

Rang last minute to see if there was a table available to book. Luckily there was. Food was amazing!! Utterly fantastic would visit Bridgend again just to eat here!! 2 Philly steaks, one steak with pepper corn sauce, all day English breakfast and a think it was called pick n mix of sea food which was divine!!

I visited the Globe this evening and I have to say that it's the worst Christmas meal I have had!!! I had a starter of Pate which was absolutely tasteless followed by a disgusting turkey dinner. I don't like roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding, there were NO boiled potatoes and the only other veg were 'watery' carrot batons, sprouts (Which I hate) and a red cabbage which I can only describe as a pickled red cabbage gone wrong!!! I paid £25 for 'hard' turkey, half a dozen carrot batons and some gravy. I will NEVER go there ever again, a disgusting rip off!!!!!

Absolutely lovely fish and chips, batter was beautifully crispy. Friends enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak, curry and fish platter. Despite being busy, service was fast.

Not been here for a while, & the most recent visit was for the Sunday Carvery.There was a reasonable choice of Vegetables after the server provides you with the meat, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets roast & mash potatoes.We would return again if in the area.

Visited here for food today and was very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also pet friendly with lots of seating available in the beer garden to the rear of the premises.
