Nice place to stop and rest up stretch your legs. Was very quiet when I visited Nice view of the Wye just a short walk away.

Parked here to do Wye Valley Walk from. Parking is not free, all day is £6. Option to pay by card at cafe on site. Friendly and helpful gentleman there. Very busy as there is the canoe launch there, so we didn't feel there was anywhere to have a picnic as we would of been in people's way. Toilets close by outside village hall. Great starting point for walks and getting on the water.

Ideal for launching onto the Wye or for stopping by the lovely café but it can get a bit busy at times so don't bank on getting a space

You can park for free just over Kern Bridge it self, just to the left of it as you pass, heading towards Goodrich. The verge has a gate with access to long river walks. Local land owners are trying to stop people from using the footpath along the river, they put up fake signs to put people off from using the paths and beaches along that stretch of they wye. Ignore the signs and the land owners it's our right if way.

On 29 March found that the winter period free parking had just been cut by a month to end on 1st March. We had checked AND parked on 1st March when old period and old charges applied, with no notice of a change on the site. Beware high charges and fines!!!
