Eastleigh Care Home
My mum moved here from another home and the quality of care is top notch staff are friendly and professional and have time for the residents. My Dad is much happier with her here than previous home. Thank you to all for the care you have shown to my mum it is muchly appreciated and with visitors the detail to attention is fantastic

Eastleigh Care Home
My mother was put in this home for respite care. She hated ever second of her time in there. The food was bland, tasteless and served cold. Completely inedible. Anything she requested never ever arrived. She was given a bell to ring which was absolutely pointless as no one ever responded. They have lost her very expensive hearing aid. All the staff are from overseas and their clarity in speaking to the elderly residents is anything but clear. She couldn’t understand them and they couldn’t understand her.Very unsatisfactory and definitely not recommended for the long term. I wouldn’t place her back in their even for respite care.Probably fine for poor souls with Dementia but she deteriorated during her time in there because there was absolutely no one to speak to and interact with.

One of the best Carehomes i worked with, heard some of the negative reviews there down ,but almost all of the residents been there for long time live peacefully and going through a lovely atmosphere there with beautiful view and immense love from care staffs.

Eastleigh Care Home
My dad Raymond Cook came here from Exeter hospital around the end of June last year, after being in hospital for 2 months. He had Alzheimer's and fell down the stairs in April, and never managed to start walking again, and as they couldn't find a care home closer to our house they dumped him in Eastleigh. The majority of staff are very nice and understanding, they are a lot of help and the rooms and areas in the care home are also nice, isn't too overcrowded, my dad did do a lot better in that care home then he did at home, other than when me and my mum first went up to visit him he was a bit sleepy and shouted a bit but every other time except the last time we went on the 29th of August he shouted a bit, he was very calm. He liked it a lot and as he had just been in hospital for 2 months where he would just shout and scream at us the entire time we were there to see him and at some points he was getting so aggressive they had to get security to control him, shows how good the care home was. The lounge is amazing, the staff made me and my mum a cup of tea for free on a few of the visits, the food does look amazing and they did help my dad with eating as he couldn't use his right hand for anything, there's also a garden which is nice, other than the price which was like £2400 a week, it is honestly a very nice care home and I have no complaints. He was moved to a care home closer to my house as minehead is over an hour drive from where I live in cullompton, he was moved to camalot where his health deteriorated very quickly, few months later he stopped talking for the most part until his death in late February from covid. I can't thank Eastleigh enough, it was nice knowing my dad was in good hands while he was there. The view from the car park is nice as well, as it's up high on a hill it has a very nice view of all of minehead and the bristol sea, would recommend. It could be a bit cheaper because £2400 a week is very far out of our price range but it's still an amazing care home
