Give the dog a comb Banstead

Penny is excellent. We have been taking our incredibly anxious 3 year old Cocker Spaniel to Penny for 2 years. Our dog has a for a full groom twice a year, and Penny is always incredibly patient and understanding. Having used other groomers previously, we will now only use Penny as she has our dog's welfare as the priority

I have just had my two dogs groomed by the lovely Penny for the second time. She is absolutely delightful, very kind with the dogs and does a wonderful job. My dogs don’t like to be separated so she sweetly keeps them as close together as possible whilst she grooms them. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Absolutely disappointing, have been using this service for a while, on the last couple of occasions my dogs have been injured. The picture of the little paws are from my youngest yorkie who got a cut here, the vets said that it is from the groomers as it is in a location that cannot be due to excess walking. The other two pictures on the body is from my eldest yorkie that got his cut yesterday. On the first occasion (little paws), I told Penny that this has happened and to just be more cautious next time. Since then, I have left the dogs with Penny whilst they were being groomed. Yesterday, I went and stayed whilst they had their hair groomed. I left the room for a little while to move my car. Today I noticed my dog has red patches on his body from where the clippers had gotten too close. I texted Penny letting her know and that I will not be using her service anymore. She kindly called back and told me that SHE FEELS ON EDGE WITH ME? and that I COMPLAIN as I had asked her to cut my dogs faces shorter than usual. I did not know that requests for hair cuts would be known as a complaint...Thank you, but no thank you.

Penny has been grooming our 13 month old Cockerpoo (Molly) and we are extremely pleased with her service. Penny is very welcoming and caring towards our lively puppy. We are happy with the way Molly is looked after and her advice has been invaluable. We would definitely recommend 'Give the dog a comb'

Our family dog always looks beautiful after his groom. It's great that you can be with you dig while they are groomed. Penny is very personable and professional l. I would highly recommend.

Penny was fantastic with my extremely anxious and reactive Collie x Spaniel today. The grooming parlour experience was completely new to my dog and I and I doubted I'd walk out with her nails clipped as she is such a nervous dog who reacts badly to strangers. Penny put us both at ease and was swift and professional in every way - resulting in my dog finally being able to get all of her nails clipped! Thank you!

I have a Cavapoo who has separation anxiety and gets very nervous! It was really important to me when looking for a groomer that I found someone that has experience in this area and that would spend one on one time with him as he struggles being left on his own. Penny is absolutely lovely and makes the whole process so easy and stress free for me and Otto!I feel completely at ease and trust her fully with him! She treats him like one of her own!He comes out looking and smelling AMAZING with a big waggy tail! I have been going Penny for 8 years now to have my dog Lucy’s haircut. She always does it very well. I like it because I can wait while Lucy is being done. As a hairdresser myself I know what a good cut means and Penny can do a good cut! She is very patient with the dogs and is professional in what she does.I wouldn’t like to leave my dog in a shop and not see what is happening to them.I would recommend her!

Been taking my two Scottie's to Penny since they were babies. Scotties are known for being incredibly difficult and stubborn dogs, which my two definitely are, however, despite this, Penny still manages to do an amazing job - they come out looking like a million dollars and looking like models! Penny has a brilliant way with them, makes them feel completely at ease and looks after them like they are her own. I have complete trust in Penny and so do they. I would never go anywhere else.
