I wouldnt recommend Hitched to build your business as a platform.The first few years they charged £1000,I built my reviews asking customers to place reviews which took years of effort asking each customer to place a review for my business on their platform,Now they want just over £20,000 for the same regional business listings for 1 year.Honestly the number of enquiries was not a very good return but I just continued with it due to being invested and built up on the platform.Also someone posted spam review on my listing which was obviously spam due to the comments, the person on the phone at hitched also said this is obviously a spam comment and hitched would not remove the review.

Invaluable wedding planning tool, used it to plan our wedding, and o don't know how i could have kept track without it. The staff are very in responding when you need help. We bought our website, and all our guests are putting photos on it. Highly recommended

Writing review as a Supplier ( but might be useful for potential clients too, as you’ll see what type of people and company you’ll be dealing with ).For anyone willing to build a wedding clientelle with Hitched - I highly recommend you to think twice before joining them as a supplier.I’ll try to keep it short as possible and will highlight the red flags you should be aware of.1. To appear on the 1st page of your category search, you’ll need to purchase one of their top, silver or premium packages, which does makes sense - that’s their business model. The thing they won’t tell you, is that upon visiting your paid (!) listing, the client will be offered to contact another 6 suppliers just like you. Which makes all the inclusivity you are paying for quite questionable.2. Hard selling. Once you decide to go forward, you’ll be connected with one of their sales member. Immediately, they will start explaining how good they are comparing to their competitors. During the whole call, they will push you to make a booking, promising (!) that you’ll cover all the costs you’ll do with them within the first sale. They’ll start from somewhat high prices, and as soon as you’ll be about to leave, they will reduce the price for the service.3. Contract. Read it! As soon as you sign the contract, you won’t be able to cancel your contract within first 12 month (!), they of course, won’t tell you that. You can cancel within 7 days by UK law by the way, but once again it’s not mentioned in the contract and no one would tell you that.4. Your listing. You’ll be able to fill in your profile information and descriptions the way you want it….just for 2 days. After, they will rewrite everything (!), the way they want it. Of course, without telling you. So be ready to loose your identity and selling point and become one of hundreds copy-written listings. At this point, I want you to remember, that you are the one who is paying.That’s my personal experience. I personally regret going forward with this company. They made an effort to invest in SEO and appear on the top position at Google. Now they survive entirely on draining small businesses, giving them fake promises they can’t deliver.If you value your money and time, avoid this company like a plague.

We have advertised our wedding venue ( Goose Green Lakeside tipis in Cheshire) They have managed to provide us with enough clients to totally sell out in 2022 and we now have many bookings in for 2023 and 2024. Their team has been nothing short of outstanding from day one.

THE best Wedding supplier in the business in the UK . Never looked back since joining Hitched as a supplier in the Musicians category on Saxophone . With excellent support and advice from Joanna Lucas I cannot recommend Hitched UK enough !!!

They bombard you with perhaps the most unhelpful emails, quotes, and links to aggressive suppliers. They are a symbol of everything wrong with a very parasitic and unhelpful wedding-industrial complex.I am sure Hitched is responsible for a ballooning of wedding costs for thousands of couples. Yes they could in theory help you plan, but god your wedding is going to be overpriced, and you'll likely have lingering doubts over whether you've hired enough wedding planners, got the right napkin embroidery patters, and whether the confetti you've bought is of the correct hue, because Hitched will certainly try and convince you to care about this.Yes you can unsubscribe, but god Hitched is annoying.

I have run a hair & makeup company or over 15 years and we have been with Hitched for over 6 years. We have always had a good number of leads through Hitched, some of which have contributed to our 90 5 star reviews. Now it is the only site that we have a paid listing with, as the others proved not to be as profitable. I have always been happy to renew each year- sometimes adding counties or reducing them according to budget. I found Hitched were particularly helpful during the pandemic where they postponed payments whilst our budget vanished. Then the change from a yearly payment to a monthly payment also helped as our finances started to recover. All the staff have been polite, helpful and have responded promptly to any queries, in particular Joanna Lucas has been really helpful, with top tips and ideas to make the most of our page on Hitched.I also never feel pressured to add anything onto my contract that I cant afford- which is key managing your budget .

Where do I start with company!I got tricked into signing a year long contract which costs over £600! The fact they don't do monthly subscriptions says it all.There costumer service is shocking!I believe they have fake accounts they message suppliers to trick you into thinking you are getting loads of interest however, when you get a message and reply you do not get a response and get ghosted.I can get more bookings in 1 day on other sites compared to a year on Hitched.They were nothing but a bill to my business and now I don't owe them anymore money I can now use that money to actually get lots of bookings elsewhere.You only have to look at other reviews to see how bad they are, look at Trustpilot and you will see what I mean.AVOID this company and save yourself money and hassle from their very poor costumer service!

From a photographers point of view this site is quite disgusting. It encourages clients to spam photographer with no knowledge or interest in the person they are contacting... we are nothing but a tick box to them.My £400 has basically paid for me to waste my time on a couple of tyre kicker enquiries each month.I've not had a single person contact me with a tailored message, just the one provided by Hitched when they tick me as box. I respond to each enquiry and after they have asked how much" you get ghosted.Hitched is the epitome of everything that is wrong with the internet right now. It encourages spamming and ghosting - and worse still I would wager that 9 out of 10 couples wind up booking a photographer that isn't right for them because of how their system works.Waste of money and waste of my time."

Hitched is the most successful external platform at bringing in new enquiries and providing me with a high conversion rate for my business 'Le Keux Vintage Salons & Parties' in Essex.
