Apologies for previously leaving a 1 star review, this was a mistake!! Visited recently via a recommendation during a trip to visit family when our dog's collar snapped. We were so impressed with the selection of whippet products and came away with much more then planned! The service was super friendly and helpful and our dog got a little treat which was lovely. We'll be sure to visit again when we're in the area.

Really excellent customer service and kindness. I wanted a bag of road salt but this was far too heavy for me to carry, so the young man serving me very kindly split it into 2 strong plastic bags. Brilliant! Greens were also the only store I could find who had road salt in stock.

There's more to it than meets the eye. It's a great place for everything from feed for all sorts of animals (if they haven't got it in, they will get it in for you), hardware, garden things, food such as breads, cakes vegetables, biscuits etc etc. Call in to have a look around as there is far too much to list. Competitively priced too, especially for horse feed. Will miss Dave when he retires.

Used to be a good shop, however it has recently been bought out by a chain, prices have rocketed, an example is Royal Canin dog food 15kg £90, identical bag £60 from Pets at home. Range of products has been reduced, well worth avoiding.

What a marvelous store.Stocking provisions for all animals, from feed to supplements.Wild bird feeds, chicken feed, cow and calves feed, sheep feed, horse, dog and cat feed.Local food, such as naughty but nice cakes, local made Gins and jams.Walking boots, riding boots and Wellington boots, workwear and riding clothing.Plenty of farming stuff to like Gate fixings and heavy screws.Dog beds, coats, collars and leads. All sorts here!Sacks of potatoes and fresh eggs too.Well worth a visit.
