ALDI

Been going to this Aldi more regular now. It’s fresh, clean and well managed. I am usually there one opening (before work) so it’s usually quiet but everything I need is available. I love that they have self checkout alongside normal checkouts as this helps speed up the process when it gets busier.

Big, spacious supermarket. Shelves stucked nicely. I gave 3 stars just because i couldnt find any staff member to help me when i needed,not on one occasion.

This store is always very busy. The quality of the products is really good and plenty of car park. Friendly staff.

Baskets mostly dirty store could do with a good clean through, staff can be helpful one day and can't be bothered the next, apart from that fruit & veg is OK Coleman st..... Update baskets seem to be clean for a change, in the last few weeks the shop has changed most of the staff shops still the same though, no still the same

I'm sorry to say it was made an embarrassing. I'd been to health centre on Coleman street. I hadn't planned to visit ALDI. I went to get a trolley realising I hadnt got any change so I asked a young man who was filling shelves and asked is there any way I could get a coin for trolley he was so polite and helpful. There was a senior member of staff standing by the exit the young man asked to borrow the trolley keys he wanted to know why coming to the entrance the young man and my self now a few people were standing at this point I was feeling like a fool thank goodness for an elderly lady came and pat me on my arm saying here's a pound coin I often do it I did my shopping I went through to pay and waited for the lady and gave her the coin and flowers. I will not visit that store again

All in all Aldi is a very good place to shop. Definitely cheaper then the big three other super markets. However, one smaller downer to note is this. When I have purchased their own brand of mini cheese biscuits. Every packet that I have opened, the biscuits are always broken. Not many are intact.

Chilled veggie bacon has disappeared from this Aldi, as have the chilled veggie burgers. They're available in other Aldis, but not here for some reason. Oh and red pesto is harder to get hold of in this store than rocking horse emissions for some unknown reason. It doesn't seem to be a problem in other Aldis.

I struggle with social anxiety and I do tend to target shopping in the last 30 to 45 minutes of opening hours mainly due to there minimal customers, i didn't get there until about 25 minutes to closing time.I did have some problems whilst that the Checkout for instance my partner's transfer didn't go through until I called to tell him how much( yes I know it's game playing).However the only tools open myself serve and the supervising member of staff recognized my distress and was very accommodated unfortunately as I was walking towards the exit she had already left the area so I never got to thank her personally which I will do if I see her on my next visit this is my favorite Aldi of my city and it's probably the third time and member of staff has gone above and beyond their duties and in comparison to other outlets compared to the Chellaston one or the one at the meat is centre I would and do go out of my way to attend the Harvey Road Aldi.To any Aldi staff based at how Harvey Road, I applaud you for your customer service skills and your observations to the little details of any customer that is hiding they're struggles.Teddy Aldi management that happens to be reading my comment you have an amazing team at Harvey Road and I hope you recognize the special ones keep it up and again I emphasize my gratitude.
