Only stopped in for a pint while waiting to be picked up. Beer was cold and staff are polite.

It’s a really cold place they don’t put any heating on and there not very friendly there oh sorry the only time there friendly there is when your handing over money but once you’ve paid then they are not helpful and the charge you for everything we paid 350 and they have no disco lights but there was some in the room when we was shown round in there and then wanted to charge extra for us to put the food on the tables and they gave us two small tables for the dj to set up on

Always a good selection of beers, place deserves to be more busy. There's loads comfortable seating and very high ceilings it's a very roomy pub with a separate function room and a couple of pool tables.

Had lunch here. Never again. A burger and a drink for two came to almost £25. Whilst this might have been fine if the quality and service were adequate, this was absolutely not the case.When ordering, we were asked how we would like the burgers cooked and opted for medium rare - both were overcooked when came. The lettuce on the burgers was browned (had obviously been prepared days ago).If you decide to relieve yourself at any point, I'd try and hold it in as the bathrooms are dirty and broken; it feels like the staff have attempted to cover the stench of stale urine with bleach rather than a proper clean.Service was equally inadequate - we spoke to staff when ordering but did not hear anything from them throughout our meal.We would have like to voice our concerns in person but could not see a member of staff not engaged in conversations with each other, oblivious to their paying customers.The only reason why we ended up here is that our local pub (which has none of these issues) was not serving food today.Update: Went home after and was ill. Never again.

Beautiful building, a little rough around the edges inside but can be forgiven. It's an honest pub with good food and friendly staff.They have a small menu, but the food is far better quality than Weatherspoon's for a similar price bracket.Will definitely be coming back.

Called in this for a few pints. The barman was 10/10. Rare to find a good barman these days. Professional and friendly.I will return.

Nice, friendly staff. Attended a function there, and everything was spot on. Has pool tables £1 for 15 minutes and a nice pint. Whats not to like?
